JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 (BArch/BPlan) result session 2 has been announced by the NTA. Here's how to check your JEE Main scorecard on the official website. The result of JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 session 2 is available online on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in. To check JEE Main paper 2 result 2025, candidates need to login on the website using their application number and password. 
JEE-Main-Result-2025 JEE Mains BArch, BPlan Result 2025: NTA has declared the JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2025 session 2 . The direct link to check JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 Result has been provided on this page. Candidates can also check JEE Main 2025 paper 2 result for BArch and BPlan from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.  

The NTA conducted the JEE Main 2025 paper 2 Session 2 exam on April 9. The result of session 2 (April) was announced on May 23. For candidates who appeared in both sessions of JEE Main 2025, the final result will be prepared based on normalised scores of both attempts. For those candidates who appear in JEE Main 2025 in either of the sessions, scores of that particular attempt will be released. 

JEE Main BArch result 2025 has been made available as a scorecard mentioning the candidate's percentile score and the All India Rank of candidates, considering the best of two session scores. The result has been prepared based on the JEE Main 2025 final answer key for Paper 2.

How to check JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2025?

JEE Main Result Paper 2 2025 session 2 will be available only online. Candidates will have to log in to the official website to check their scorecards. Check the below-mentioned steps for downloading the scorecard of JEE Main 2025 paper 2 result

Q:   What circumstances could lead to the cancellation of my JEE Mains result?
A:

As per the information brochure released by the NTA the result of a candidate could be cancelled or withheld in the following cases:

  • Indulge in unfair practices
  • use unfair means
  • Take JEE Main exam from a center other than the one allotted
  • Allow another person to write their exam
Q:   What is the tie-breaking or inter-se merit rule in JEE Main Result?
A:
If two or more candidate obtains same or equal percentile scores, NTA uses a criteria to resolve the tie. In Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech), candidates having higher score in Mathematics is placed high in merit. In case tie still exists, marks of Physics and Chemistry would be compared. Similarly, for Paper 2A, marks of Mathematics followed by General Aptitude and Architecture is checked. In Paper 2B, marks of Mathematics, General Aptitude and Planning is checked.
Q:   What is CRL in JEE Main result?
A:
CRL stands for the Common Rank List. NTA releases the cutoff in several categories one of which is CRL. Basically, CRL means unreserved category. Candidates belonging to unreserved category need to have JEE Main cutoff equal to or more than the CRL cutoff. The other categories for which cutoff is released are Gen-EWS, Open-PwD, OBC-NCL, SC and ST.

  • Log using the application number and password/Date of birth to check JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 result. 
  • On login, candidates can view JEE Main scorecard, mentioning the scores obtained by them in all subjects. Candidates will also be able to check the combined marks obtained in all three parts of JEE Main 2025 paper 2.
  • Candidates can check and download their JEE Main result 2025 for paper 2 as well as the scorecard which is available through the same result window.

JEE Main Result 2025 Paper 2 Highlights

  • NTA will not send any hard copy of JEE Main result paper 2 or rank card by post and candidates can download their result through their JEE Main 2025 applicant account only
  • The JEE Main result 2025 mentions compiled scores of session 1 (if candidates appeared for both sessions). This means NTA will consider the best of raw scores for JEE Main from both attempts to prepare JEE Main Merit List 2025
  • The candidates will be given the All India Rank (AIR) only after the announcement of JEE Main Result Paper 2 for the April session
  • The AIR list for JEE Main 2025 will be prepared on basis of normalised scores of both sessions

JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2025 - Tie Breaking Rule

In case of tie-in JEE Main scores for paper 2, the rank list for BArch and BPlan will be prepared as under –

  • The candidate with higher marks in the Mathematics section will be ranked higher
  • The candidate will higher marks Aptitude Test will be ranked higher
  • The candidate with higher marks in Drawing Test will be ranked higher
  • Fourthly, candidates having a lesser number of negative responses in the paper

JEE Main 2025 Rank List for B.Arch/B.Plan

The rank list of JEE Main 2025 paper 2 will be prepared by considering the best of two scores. For candidates who will appear in both January and April sessions, their rank list will be prepared by taking the highest score of two attempts while for candidates who have appeared only in one attempt, their rank list will be prepared taking the score of that particular attempt.

The score of candidates in JEE Main Paper 2 result is in the form of percentiles. The percentile scores are obtained after normalization. Normalization is done in order to remove any possible parity in the difficulty level of the exam as the paper is held in two shifts. The NTA will release a separate rank list for different categories of candidates in the form of toppers.

Q:   Are JEE Main result and JEE Main score card different?
A:
JEE Main result and scorecard are the same thing. After login to the website for checking their JEE Main result, students will SEE their scorecards with details of the percentile scores secured by them in each subject, aggregate percentile score, All India Rank and cutoff. Candidates need to download and take its printout. JEE Main result/scorecard is an important document and is required for counselling and admission process.
Q:   In which mode will NTA declare JEE Mains result?
A:
National Testing Agency declares JEE Main result only in online mode. Candidates need to visit the official website of NTA JEE Mains to check their result. Candidates must note NTA will not announce the results of JEE Main in any other mode. Also, candidates will not be informed individually about their results.
Q:   Can I request for re-evaluation of JEE Main result?
A:
NTA has clearly mentioned on the information bulletin that there is no provision for rechecking of the JEE Main result. There is no re-evaluation/re-checking of the JEE Main result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. NTA allows candidates to raise objections in JEE Main answer key which is released before the announcement of results. If candidates have any grievance to any answer mentioned in the answer key, they can raise objections. NTA evaluates the objections submitted by the candidates and the final answer key is released. JEE Main result is calculated on the basis of the final answer key.

JEE Main Counselling 2025 for BArch and BPlan

The counselling for admission to BArch and BPlan courses offered by NITs will be organised by JoSAA. The JoSAA counselling schedule will be released after the announcement of JEE Mains 2025 result session 2. JoSAA 2025 counselling registration will start tentatively in June. Candidates who want to get admission in BArch or BPlan courses at NITs need to register for the JoSAA counselling. The allotment of seats will be done based on the All India Rank obtained in JEE Main paper 2 result 2025.
