Good placements, supportive environment, and excellent infrastructure for overall growth.

Placements: Around 80% of students in my batch got placed with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 12 LPA and an average of 6 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini. Nearly 60% secured internships with companies like Deloitte, HCL, and Cognizant.

Infrastructure: Campus offers excellent infrastructure with well-equipped labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, and a rich library. Hostel facilities are clean and comfortable, with 24/7 water and electricity. Mess serves decent and hygienic food with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, though teaching styles vary among departments. Curriculum is mostly relevant but could be updated more frequently to match industry needs. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing on both theory and practical applications.

Placements: Approximately 90% and above students got placed. The highest package is 51 LPA in Microsoft (off-campus) and the lowest ranges from 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include ServiceNow, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, LTIMindtree, etc. They offer various roles like software engineer, data analyst, and ML engineer.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in SKCET is very good. They have modern labs and classrooms. Hostel facilities are also very good. Hostel food is edible and non-vegetarian food is not available. Sports are also focused in this college. There is a football ground, cricket nets, basketball court, tennis court, and more.

Faculty: There are 2 CIA exams. Course curriculum are related to the course. Pass percentage is also very high. Semester exams are moderately difficult. There are written exams and practical exams as well. Semester exams are assessing the skills of students effectively.

Other: I chose AI because of my interest and it's trending nowadays. It would be better if there are more practical lessons and workshops. Events are conducted very rarely. It's a big disadvantage.

Life at SKCET. You will have a good college life overall.

Placements: The top role offered by our college is SDE. The top package is about 44 LPA which is nice for the freshers. The placements are offered by various top MNC's. The placements offered are by Microsoft, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant.

Infrastructure: Hostel and mess was fine. But there are some restrictions for outing. You can't even think about outing legally. Even if you have to move out for any emergency, you will have to wait for the signature of HOD mam/sir and the class tutor, and finally your warden’s.

Faculty: Medium difficulty is there in the semester exams. Recently, they have changed the syllabus for every course. They haven't changed but updated the syllabus as per the industry’s needs. So we have to rush up to manage with the new syllabus. Our faculty members are very friendly and kind to us.

Our college is not for freedom lovers.

Placements: In recent years there was 100% placement with top recruiters like Amazon, Accenture, etc. The highest salary package is about 35 LPA and the average salary package is 10 LPA last year. It is compulsory to get an internship in any of the above companies. They are good in placements.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is best whereas the hostel for girls is very strict and the food will not be good in the hostel. PG is highly recommended just to get peace of mind for the students. Extra curricular is not encouraged.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and knowledgeable. Students should approach the faculty members who were highly qualified with experience of a minimum of 8 years. They teach to make you ready for industry experience.

Other: There will be less events conducted. College is focused only on academics not extracurricular.

Good for studies and bad for life experience .

Placements: Above 80 percent of student not yet placed and then very low company comes for placement and then no extra curricular activities and no culturals and then placement training are not properly reached and then we have to learn everything and then no one can tell about nothing .

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good and then no problem in college infrastructure but there is not table Wi-Fi and then low internet in college as well as in hostel and then food is too poor and then college lab not proper and then hostel not having proper playground .

Faculty: Faculty some are good and most of the faculty is bad and then courses are good and also examples are top tough and easy and full experiential a But faculty are not good then we need more real time teaching for more understanding and then we need more faculty .

Other: Good for studying and then bad for life experience .

Good for studies and bad for experience.

Placements: The highest package offered is 44 LPA at Amazon, and almost everyone got placed, but at least with 3.5 LPA-4 LPA. According to records, the average salary is 6.5 LPA, but from my respective experience, most of the students are getting placed in lower packages in mass recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, and CTS. My faculty told me that many companies come specifically for AIDS students. I don't have much interaction with my seniors because there are very few events and no cultural events to work together with seniors.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and the library are very good. Labs are decent. I faced a Wi-Fi problem in my 3rd semester, but now there are no issues, it's working fine. Hostel food is not a balanced meal (only carbohydrate, lacking in other nutrients), the taste is decently good, and the food hygiene is also good. During my first year, they didn't give much importance to sports and games, but now sports are also given little importance. 1st year students have a PT period in their regular timetable (1hr/5days). Gym infrastructure is very limited (too much crowd).

Faculty: College faculty members are decent, and the teaching quality is also decent. The faculty members are always advised to be friendly with the students so they don't feel strict or like that and there are a few exceptions as well. The industrial subjects are taught by knowledgeable industry trainers, and feedback is sought at the end of every day during industry training classes. The problem with industry classes is block teaching, which is continuous industrial training for 15 days, where many students are left out because they are super fast. Semester exams are difficult and the exam correction is the worst.

Other: I aimed for Computer Science, but during counselling, I got this course. The AIDS department gives less freedom than other departments in our college. If they remove block teaching and include the industry classes with the regular classes, that will be good. Events and fests are very rare. There is no such thing as a cultural event. Senior-junior interaction is extremely low. Scholarships are available for students who come from the government quota.
