No, candidates are selected for BE/ BTech programme based on their Class 12 scores and TNEA Counselling. SNS College of Technology offers seats to candidates based on their TNEA rank. Inr 2024, Aerospace Engineering was the specialisation with the highest TNEA rank of 29426.

Unreserved categories had to pay INR 1000 and INR 500, respectively. Since the exam fees was revised in the recent session, Anna University is unlikely to change the same again. SNS College of Technology offers direct admission in BE/ BTech programme to candidates seeking admission under the Management quota. For admission to PG courses under Management Quota, aspirants need to pass entrance examination conducted by the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu, Chennai for Management Quota. 

SNS College of Technology admission to ME programme is based on CEETA PG scores followed by the university counselling. Candidates must also pass BE/ BTech in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for BC/ BCM/ MBC/ SC (Arunthathiyar)/ SC & ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) for admission to ME programme.
