SOT Pandit Deendayal Energy University offers two-year M.Tech programme divided into four semesters. The school offers M.Tech in various specialisations, such as Environmental, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc. The admission to MTech programme will be based on GATE score. Non-GATE candidates can also get admission based on their performance in the personal interview round.

Candidates who have complete a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate or CPI/ CGPA of 5.5 in 10 point scale in the qualifying degree in relevant subjects can apply for SOT PDEU M.Tech course. In case the candidate cancels his or her admission, the fee is refunded as per the below policy of SOT PDEU:

• If a candidate applies for cancellation of his/ her admission through email/ in-person, the fees
  paid shall be refunded after deduction of INR 1,000 as administrative charges, only if such
  vacated seat gets filled up the latest by the start of the semester.
• Candidates shall be required to submit the original receipt of the fees paid for refund in the
  prescribed form.
