Supportive faculty, good labs, and campus, but limited placements and mostly off-campus internships.
Placements: Approximately 30 out of 140 students from our course get placed through campus recruitment, translating to a placement rate of around 21%. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA, with an average package of 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Mirafra, Infosys, Karmik, Brevera, and Light Mechanics. When it comes to internships, almost all students secure internships, although the majority are off-campus. Only 20 students receive on-campus internship offers. Companies such as Brevera, Karmik, and Mirafra provide on-campus internship opportunities. The top roles offered to students are in VLSI design, Digital Electronics, and Embedded Systems.
Infrastructure: The department offers dedicated labs for VLSI and Embedded Systems, with high-speed Wi-Fi and well-ventilated classrooms. Students have good access to a well-equipped library. Hostel facilities are satisfactory, with consistent water and electricity supply. While the mess of food is average, it is manageable. Medical support is available on campus through a health center. Placements: St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) is a distinguished private engineering institution located in Vamanjoor, Bangalore, Karnataka. It was established in 2002, and it operates under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bangalore, making it the sole catholic engineering college in the region.
Infrastructure: The CSE department at SJEC has an annual intake of 240 students. The department is committed to preparing students for successful careers in the computer and information technology industry, meeting the needs of both Indian and multinational organizations. To achieve this, the department maintains well-equipped laboratories and a dedicated departmental library. The campus is situated approximately 10 kilometers east of Bangalore city center. It boasts state-of-the-art laboratories, well-qualified staff members, and comprehensive facilities. The college provides separate hostel accommodation for both male and female students, ensuring a conducive living environment. Additionally, the campus is equipped with sports facilities, including an athletics track, basketball courts, badminton courts, football and hockey grounds, and a cricket field.

Review of St. Joseph's Engineering College.
Placements: I think 60% and above of students get placed, and my course is Computer Science and Data Science. The top recruiting company is Wipro, along with other similar companies. The percentage of students who get internships from our course is above 80%, but the waiting time is longer than expected.
Infrastructure: Labs are very clean and well-maintained. They provide us with good facilities, and faculty members are friendly and understanding, except for a few. However, the hostel food is very bad. We get the same type of sambar every noon. The wardens do not always understand us, and the hostel needs improvement.
Faculty: All teachers here are very educated and experienced, and they are very friendly, except for a few. The course helps us become industry-ready, and the syllabus is a bit difficult, but I think we can manage if we put in hard work and take the help of the teachers. The passing mark is 35 out of 100.

Really impressed with campus and faculty.
Placements: Placements have been excellent, but very low packages are offered by companies. The lowest package is approximately 3.5 lacs per annum, whereas the highest package goes for about 25 lacs per annum. Overall, many companies come for recruitment, where they conduct aptitude tests, technical rounds, and then interviews.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are pretty spacious and breezy. The course that I've taken has been pretty good so far, with quite a few interesting subjects related to my field. Regarding the hostel, it's pretty good. The food is nice for dinner. Lunch is very basic.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and very approachable. They explain topics properly and are always open to questions and discussions. The exams are also pretty good. They give us question banks for reference to study for the exams. Internals are continuous, and semester exams have a day's gap.
Other: Fun events on campus throughout the year with a good balance of studies and fun.

Campus life is just really enjoyable.
Placements: Almost all students first get placed in internships, and then through those, they land jobs. Tata Consultancy Services is one of the recruiters. The highest package offered by SJEC is 24 LPA, and the lowest is 3.2 LPA. Roles offered include software engineer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very well maintained. The library has a huge number of books, which is very useful to students, and the campus also has Wi-Fi access for all. I'm not from the hostel, but I can ensure that it is good and well-maintained. There is also a doctor on campus for medical needs.
Faculty: Lecturers are highly qualified and provide a good environment for CSE students. While teaching, they give practical examples to help students understand the subject well. Semester exams are quite good. Since our college is autonomous, it prepares its own question papers.

It's all I know about the college. I hope it helps.
Placements: 60–70% of the people were placed in this year.
The top recruiters were TCS and Infosys.
Almost 85% of students get internships.
Software developer is the top role offered. It all depends on how we work on the given project , the efforts and everything else. The highest package is 24 LPA, and lowest is 3.4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wifi is available all over the campus, classrooms are quite good enough and college has a very good environment.
I'm not a hosteler.
The food provided in the mess is good, as told by my friends. The library is really quite helpful to all the students. There are books related to all the subjects.
Faculty: Teaching quality is really good. Lecturers are cooperative with the students. The course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is 85%. I'm through the management quota so the fees will vary. The third and fourth semesters are tough enough to pass. Rest can be easy.
Other: Computer Science and Business Systems is the course by TATA Company itself, so it's more of job guarantee and also helps to know more about the internships.
