Step 1: Tolani Maritime Institute BSc Application Process

Tolani Maritime Institute has an online admission process. Every year, the institute releases an application form for students to register for the courses of their choice. As per the selection criteria, the selection to TMI is based on the IMU CET entrance exam and the TMI online entrance exam. After qualifying for the exam, students need to visit the college’s official website, fill out the registration form, upload scanned documents, and pay an application amount to apply for the respective course. Step 1.1: Visit the official website of IMU CET and open the registration form.

Step 1.2: Fill out the application form carefully with details such as personal details, education, etc.

Step 1.3: Upload photo, signature, and other documents in the prescribed format.

Step 1.4: Complete the application process by paying an adequate amount of the application fee.

Step 1.5: Preview the application form and then click on the 'submit' button for the final submission.

• Scanned signature
• Class 10 mark sheet as proof of date of birth
• Class 12 mark sheet/degree certificate (wherever applicable)
• Scanned copy of SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/General-EWS certificate (if applicable)

Step 2: Personal Interview

Candidates who clear the entrance exam are called for a personal interview. The candidates are interviewed by a panel of educators and maritime professionals to assess the candidate's communication skills, leadership potential, clarity of thought, maturity, and reasoning abilities.

Step 3: Merit Lists

Candidates are selected as per the Merit List based on the candidates' performance in Class 12, TMI Entrance Test, Personal Interview, IMUCET, and Medical Fitness as per DG Shipping Guidelines. Tolani Maritime Institute releases the merit list on its official website.

Step 4: Final Admission

Further, the selected students have to pay the course fee within one week of issuing of selection letter to confirm their admission. The Tolani Maritime Institute BSc tuition fee is around INR 6.1 lakh.

Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) scholarships are merit-based and are offered to its BSc (NS) students. The scholarships are awarded under various categories.
