University College of Engineering offers lateral entry for various BTech specialisations under CEEP. No, University College of Engineering, Osmania University does not accept direct admissions for its full-time programmes. Admissions are strictly entrance-based. Students must appear and clear the accepted entrance exams as per the offered course to get into the college. Scores obtained by the applicants in exams, such as TS ICET, TS PGCET, and TS EAMCET are considered while shortlisting candidates. Additionally, students must also clear the eligibility criteria of the desired programme before applying for it. However, lateral admissions to the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) course are accepted for working professionals. Students can visit the official website of the college to know further.

UCEOU is a constituent of Osmania University. Thus, the institute is expected to follow the fee refund policy framed by the university. As per the university's policy, students who withdraw their admissions are entitled to a refund of fees. However, the amount of refund depends on the following policy:

A candidate who wishes to get an admission at University College of Engineering, Osmania University in B.E should work hard for TS EAMCET as its the only way to go through. Firstly, TS EAMCET Counselling is called TS ICET. At the time of result, candidate will be provided with a rank which depends upon his score in TS EAMCET Exam. Thus he/she should check for the cutoffs of respective branch [in B.E] in University College of Engineering, Osmania University. The ffees should be paid for counselling and a time slot will be given for certificates verification. After successfull verification , he/she will be permitted to Block their seat in the respective branch they are given with by paying the tuition fees. Thus, admission process finishes.

TS EAMCET Counselling process is ongoing. TS EAMCET Seat Allotment results for Phase 1 Counselling are out. To download the allotment order, candidates must login at the official webiste of TS EAMCET at tseamcet.nic.in. 

To be conducted in three phases TS EAMCET 2025 Phase 2 Counselling process began in July, whereas the Final Phase counselling process will begin August. Based on the candidate's achieved ranks, TS EAMCET seats are allocated. 

UCEOU has published its 2023 placement report. According to the report, thus far in placements 2023, a total of 36 firms have participated, and 244 students have been placed. Additionally, the University College of Engineering Osmania University postings 2023 offers a range of packages, with the top and the lowest being INR 24 LPA and INR 3 LPA, respectively. Mathworks1, De Shaw, Fanatics, Darwinbox, HCL, and other companies were among the top UCEOU employers in 2023. The median package provided during UCEOU BE and M.Tech placements in 2022 was INR 6.50 LPA, according to the UCEOU Engineering NIRF report 2023, and was INR 5.50 LPA, respectively. The placement rate for the UCEOU BE and M.Tech placements in 2022 was further reported to be 84% and 62%, respectively.
