Till now, this college is satisfactory.

Placements: In the last two batches, about 70% of students got placed, but not at a good pay grade. The highest package is 5.5 LPA and the lowest is around 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are paint companies, cement, etc. Almost all chemical engineers' roles are offered in different industries to most of our seniors.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent, with Wi-Fi and a smart board. Hostels are decent, there are double-sharing rooms (well spacious) and a mess which provides you with food, and there are playgrounds for playing and keeping you guys physically fit. The mess food is decent.

Faculty: In our course, the teachers are good and qualified from a reputed institute, some are from IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is relevant to date, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are of a moderately difficult level. Almost everyone who attends a college lecture passes the exam very easily.

Other: Interested in field work more. They have to focus more on practical knowledge. Everything is organized by the different clubs of the university.

Placements: The placement and job opportunities were not many as the college is located in Kanpur city. Although, according to that place, it provided efficient opportunities for students to groom themselves and move forward in life. Almost 60-70% of students get job offers. The college pays special attention to bringing companies to the college placement drive. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, LIC, IBM, Google, Flipkart, Amazon, etc., visited the campus for placement and offered a minimum package range of 5 LPA to 15 LPA based on the skills. The companies visiting here are local, so you have to manage internships as well.

Infrastructure: This course is good for making our future in the software and IT field. In this course, you will learn about computer languages like C, Java, Python, HTML, PHP, and other subjects like software engineering and accounts management. It focuses on the development of teachers' subject matter knowledge, knowledge of students, and subject specialization. The hostel is good. There are about 4 hostels: 2 for girls and 2 for boys. The hostel environment is also good. The fee for the boys' hostel is about 42200 for 11 months, so you get a hostel form.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and experienced in teaching the subjects. They are the most experienced faculty and they hold the best experience and knowledge to teach anyone. Some teachers used to come, and some did not. I found very good and experienced professors. Professors are knowledgeable, and they are very cooperative. The exam is conducted every quarter, semester-wise. When the semester starts, one exam is taken after the mid-semester examination. The end-of-semester examination carries more weight. It is out of 50 marks. The mid-semester is always in October for the odd semester and in March for the even semester.

Review of B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from CSJMU Kanpur.

Placements: About 10% of the students in my batch were placed after graduation. The highest salary offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. The companies that recruited students this year were Jagran and Mittal Software Labs, and they only recruited students from the CSE program. There is very little chance of getting a job in the Mechanical Engineering program. About 50% of the students in my batch were able to find internships on their own, based on their skills. The university did not provide any assistance in finding internships. Most of the students who got internships went to work for tech companies.

Infrastructure: The campus is lush and green, and the classrooms are smart and well-equipped with cameras. The library looks good, but we usually can't find the books we need. The hostel rooms are shared by two students and have Wi-Fi, a small playground, and basic furnishings. The food is average, and the medical facilities are not always up to the mark. Sports and games are not a regular occurrence, happening only two or three times a year. There's a big stadium next to the helipad area of the college.

Faculty: The faculty to be very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The grading system is relative, meaning that the student with the highest score gets an A+, and other students are graded according to that highest-scoring student. The exams are not very difficult, but we do need to have the desire to learn. If we attend class and pay attention, we can do well.

Other: I wanted to do B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering for my family business. The best thing about the course is that it prepares you for the industry. The teachers are very knowledgeable, but they are often busy with other tasks and don't spend enough time teaching the students. Events and fests are sporadic. The boy-to-girl ratio in the class is 4:1, but the overall college ratio is 1:1. Students who score more than 40-50% each year and provide the correct information on the scholarship form are eligible for the UP Scholarship. As an OBC student, I received Rs. 52,000/- as a scholarship.

My review about this college.

Placements: Placement and job opportunities were really good as companies themselves came to pick up the students. About 70% of the students were placed in various good companies. Many companies visited our campus like Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, HTC, HP, HCL, and many more renowned companies. Average package offered was 4 LPA. The highest package for the student was above 10.2 LPA. If you were able to maintain good academic score and perfect attendance which our college required, then believe me you were the perfect guy for any placement drive that happened in my college.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms were great however you had to share your room with one room partner but you will got hostel rooms easily in 1st year. But 2nd year onwards seats were few but you will find Kanpur city very economical, if you were looking for a PG. The meal quality was also good and changed every day.

Faculty: Faculty members were one of the main reasons why I liked this college a lot. The faculty had experience from the field, and some had advanced degrees in the computer application field. Faculty members were very cooperative and very humble. They deal with you with empathy. Provided you with the best way to learn and understand with logical examples in a detailed manner. They provided you with the insight and knowledge about the topic. Semester examination system was followed where every year 2 semester exams i.e., end semester exam and 4 mid-semester exam occurred also 1 external practice of 20 marks. In semester, we had to study 5 subjects. In first 2 semesters we got only 2 core branch subjects, and number of subjects related to core branch was increased per semester. Subjects were C, C+, Java, computer network, DBMS, and data structure.

Placements: The placement and job opportunities are average in my college, as we get job opportunities by attending pooled campuses held at other colleges on their invitation. Many companies and MNCs come here and provide the best packages to all students who have the potential for that. A job opportunity is also the best if we get a degree from here. The university is taking an active interest in improving the quality of teaching and research. It is an ultimate objective of every student as well. Companies that visit our campus are Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Magicpin, etc. The average package offered is 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good as there are proper facilities and a good atmosphere. There are 2 sharing as well as separate rooms at affordable prices. The mess food is good and hygienic.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite nice and supportive. They teach us very nicely. They teach us every topic in detail, and give us every detail about placement as well as the exam. They also support us in practical ways and make sure that we do our best. They have imparted such a good education to us, and they create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable approaching and clearing any doubts they have. There is a semester system where every semester is of 6 months, i.e., 4 semesters with 1 end-semester exam and 2 internal exams. MCA is a good course if we like programming and CS. I suggest students join here if they want to learn everything, such as management, programming, Java, C, and C++ languages. We also learn how business is run and other networking and software-related topics. The course is good, and it gives us knowledge of different subjects and fields. Exams happen twice a year, which are called semester exams.

I'm satisfied with infrastructure and facilities, but placements need to be improved.

Placements: Placements are quite average. Some companies like Swiggy, Byju's, and some other MNCs like TCS arrived this year. University also organized three job fairs this year. The university has its placement cell. The highest package offered is 22.5 LPA by Walmart this year. Nearly all students got placed from the recent fourth-year batch, but those were majorly off-campus, not on-campus. The packages offered were quite versatile, some of them got 18 LPA, and some got 5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruitment companies were TCS, Infosys, etc. Internships are quite rare at this college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostels now, and also available on the whole campus. Classrooms are fully equipped with Wi-Fi, AC ducts, and smart boards. Library is very well established and has Wi-Fi and all kinds of books. Hostel has got nice infrastructure, and mess got quite fluctuation, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. Canteen is available on-campus. Campus and hostel also have medical facilities, if in case you need one. Sports and games are very well carried out on the grounds of university, where everyone is welcome.

Faculty: Teachers of core branches are very well-qualified. Teachers have done Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur, Guwahati, and MNIT Allahabad. They are quite well qualified. So teachers of core team help a lot in our department. They make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very tough, and if you study atmost one week before, you can score very nicely in exams. Pass percentage is 33% of total marks, including labs.

Other: I chose this course because of its value for money. In this college, events and fests are very rare. This is something I want here to be improved. The surroundings, college life, and campus life are too good. If you are someone who likes extracurricular activities you will get many opportunities here.

University Institute of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
PG Diploma	Candidate must have completed Post graduate degree with minimum 50% marks in Life sciences/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/Agriculture/Biotechnology subjects or having B.Pharm./M.B.B.S./B.D.S./B.Tech./B.E./ B.A.M.S. degree, from a university established by law.
After 10th Diploma	Candidate must have passed class 10th examination with a minimum of 35% marks from a recognised board/Institute. The minimum age is 14 years as on 1st July 2022, i.e. born on or before 01-07-2009.
MCA	Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree course of 03 years minimum duration from any recognised University. Candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must be Pass in the final examination of 10+2 system or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from a recognised board.
Certificate	Candidates must have passed 10th or equivalent from a recognised board with Science and Maths as compulsory subjects.
M.Sc.
