Overall good college at this stage.

Placements: 100% placement of Mechanical branch in the year 2024. The lowest package is 2.14 LPA, and the highest is 12 LPA. The average is 3.4 LPA. Honda, L&T, etc. Internship is compulsory, so almost all students have to do it. Assistant engineer. There is a huge building for the workshop.

Infrastructure: All facilities are present in comparison to HBTU and IIT Kanpur. Hostel is excellent, and food is excellent. A Nexon car is always present in the hostel for ambulance, and the best food is given to us. The menu is decided by students. All game equipment is present, and a gym is also available at 200 Rs for hostellers.

Faculty: All the faculty members are capable of teaching and have knowledge. Of course, only the Mechanical branch has 100% placement. The toughness of exams is moderate. The pass percentage is 90%. Every faculty member is always ready to help students and available 24/7.

Other: I have an interest in Mechanical engineering. We wish to build an engineering club for the Mechanical branch.

Review of B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from CSJMU Kanpur.

Placements: About 10% of the students in my batch were placed after graduation. The highest salary offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. The companies that recruited students this year were Jagran and Mittal Software Labs, and they only recruited students from the CSE program. There is very little chance of getting a job in the Mechanical Engineering program. About 50% of the students in my batch were able to find internships on their own, based on their skills. The university did not provide any assistance in finding internships. Most of the students who got internships went to work for tech companies.

Infrastructure: The campus is lush and green, and the classrooms are smart and well-equipped with cameras. The library looks good, but we usually can't find the books we need. The hostel rooms are shared by two students and have Wi-Fi, a small playground, and basic furnishings. The food is average, and the medical facilities are not always up to the mark. Sports and games are not a regular occurrence, happening only two or three times a year. There's a big stadium next to the helipad area of the college.

Faculty: The faculty to be very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The grading system is relative, meaning that the student with the highest score gets an A+, and other students are graded according to that highest-scoring student. The exams are not very difficult, but we do need to have the desire to learn. If we attend class and pay attention, we can do well.

Other: I wanted to do B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering for my family business. The best thing about the course is that it prepares you for the industry. The teachers are very knowledgeable, but they are often busy with other tasks and don't spend enough time teaching the students. Events and fests are sporadic. The boy-to-girl ratio in the class is 4:1, but the overall college ratio is 1:1. Students who score more than 40-50% each year and provide the correct information on the scholarship form are eligible for the UP Scholarship. As an OBC student, I received Rs. 52,000/- as a scholarship.

Placements: Our college provides average placements. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Almost all the students got placed in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides good facilities. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are good. Classrooms have smartboards. A huge library is available in our college. The food served in the mess is good. The hostel facility is available in our college. Around 2 students can stay in each room.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and well-qualified. The course curriculum is good. It makes students industry-ready. Exams are difficult. The marking is based on grades. They provide internships in big industries and IITs.

Other: Our college is very good. Many sports events are held in our college. Our college has a cultural club.

I am not satisfied with this college because of its faculty members.

Placements: A few students got placed in our course. Around 1 - 2 companies visit our college to recruit students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has many buildings. Wi-Fi facility is available in our college, but it is secured. We have a central library. The central library is equipped with air-conditioners. The hostel facilities are good. The food served in the hostel is not good. We have a stadium for sports.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. Some of them are average. The teaching quality is up to the mark. They are not creative. They will not pay attention to extracurricular activities. The pass percentage depends on the teachers. The pass percentage is 30%.

I think I wasted my money by taking admission in this college.

Placements: About 20% of students get placed. The highest package offered in 2022 is 11.5 LPA, and the lowest package is about 1.5 LPA. Hardly one gets internships from my college because the professors to whom the college has given the responsibility of internship barely do any work.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but the management is very poor. Wi-Fi is available in certain areas of college. The infrastructure of the hostel is good, but there is not a single facility that works properly. There are no medical facilities. The canteen food is bad, and the care takers and wardens are very rude.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified here, but very few of them are supportive. The teaching quality is good overall. Few teachers are quite helpful, and they want us to reach great heights. But due to the poor management of the college, students don't get any practical knowledge. Semester examinations are standard. Questions are made difficult but taught in the class.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost 70%-80% of students were placed in the Computer Science and Information Technology Branch. Nearly 20% of the mechanical branch qualified for the GATE Exam. The highest salary package achieved this year was 25 LPA, but it was an off-campus placement. Around 40-50% of students get internships in many government companies such as NTPC, Visakhapatnam Steel, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. Roads are well connected. Hostel accommodation was also good. But the food at the hostel was not so good. Although the college canteen serves better meals, the hostel mess food is below average. Medical facilities are available due to the presence of a paramedical department. Sports and games scope are also present due to the presence of the University Ground and Physical Education department.

Faculty: Teachers and faculty members in our college are qualified. Our branch was not relevant. But if you go for it, then develop your extra curriculum more efficiently. Semester exams are not so easy to pass. Here is the relative marking system based on the IIT Kanpur pattern. The pass percentage is 40%, but in order to graduate, you must receive an overall grade of 5/10, which equals 50%.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in machines. Labs and lab faculty are absolutely intelligent. Scholarships come on time.

Scenario are pretty much is same as engineering College are found to be in India.

Placements: Got job offers from Tata motors academic specialist on the scale of around 5-6 LPA and also have decent offers in respect of placement since new placement cell held in our campus from mid dec, several more reputed complies like RSPL also visited our campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure as a very good in college building, lecture halls, cafeteria, hostel arevery pretty and well structured and the best things happens in our campus at that renovation takes place in our campus every regular interval of time makes campus more beautiful.

Faculty: Talking about the faculty they arewell-educated and some have the Masters and in their respective branches, talking about the curriculum so it's the curriculum based on the latest syllabus GATE exam follows, an examination held in university in a very decent manner and are totally fair.

Other: Talking about course that is mechanical in just a teacher is a very good in teaching the engineering and labs, the workshop are good and I can say that you must visit campus for your degree.

Absolutely dissatisfied with college because there is nothing in my college good.

Placements: 1. During my placement in placement drive held between Nov 2021 to March 2022 best roles offered by college was role of trainne engineer in RSPL with minimum CTC of around 2.5Lpa. 2. Another decent roles offered was of academics specialist in BYJUs during mid dec.

Infrastructure: Instrasturctue for classes are too good there are several classroom of individual discipline and have separate building for each department and each department have separate classes for each years student and have capacity to occupy more tha 100+ students.

Faculty: Faculty in our college is not upto mark yet they are qualified with B.Tech, M.Tech degree but they have lack of teaching skill and can't makes study more interesting. Somehow they are not clear in their own concept just brings notes and keep them write on boards.

Other: There are no events and fest organize in our university they just bring funds and keep them save in their pocket as much possible.
