Our university is a very good university.

Placements: There have been no placements conducted by the university, which is Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidalaya, in the last 6 years. And when the placement was conducted by our university, those companies came with a lower package which is not helpful to us.

Infrastructure: The room facilities of our university, which is named Uttar Banga Krishi, are very good. The class rooms have air conditioning, a fan, and a smart board. And also available is the Wi-Fi system, whose speed is very high, which helps us in study and other purposes.

Faculty: In our university, which is called Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, there are three faculty members. Our faculty members, whose name is faculty of technology, are very helpful and they provide our notes. The semester exam at our university is very good.

Other: I chose this course because its value will increase in the future.

Some basic information about UBKV.

Placements: UBKV offers admission to students who have successfully cleared the WBJEE entrance examination with PCM in their 10+2 class. Unlike other colleges, our institution does not conduct campus placements or have a dedicated placement cell. Unfortunately, none of our students have been able to secure internships through the college. The class size at UBKV is limited to 34 students. Regrettably, we have not been able to provide alternative career opportunities for our students.

Infrastructure: There are three faculty members at our institution: the Technology Faculty, Horticulture Faculty, and Agriculture Faculty. The Wi-Fi connection is reliable, and the classrooms are satisfactory. The faculty members are competent. However, the quality of the hostels is extremely poor, including the food provided. Medical support is average, with a small medical unit located within our UBKV. Additionally, there is a library situated next to the open stage in our college.

Faculty: The teaching qualities of our teachers are commendable. Each semester consists of one mid-term and one end-term examination. Additionally, there is a mandatory practical exam for the energy subject. Our pass percentage in every subject is 50%, and we offer a scholarship percentage of 60%. Moreover, we organize a marathon and an annual sports event. If you are interested in pursuing higher studies, this college is the right choice for you. Lastly, the students conduct a freshers' party and a social event.

Other: UBKV offers a range of programs for higher studies students, including M.Sc., Ph.D., B.Sc., and B.Tech. The college provides a core curriculum in these fields. However, improvements are needed in the campus placement cell to enhance job opportunities for students. The year-back system is a drawback as it causes students to waste a year. I chose this field of study because I aspire to become an engineer, believing that engineers have versatile skills. The campus offers only one scholarship opportunity. Our graduating seniors visit the college to share their experiences, which serves as a source of motivation for us.

Our faculty is absolutely fine and good for agriculture engineering.

Placements: According to 2024, there are 30–40% of students placed in my course. There are so many famous companies coming to offer jobs in our university. Many seniors have gotten jobs, and many are going to IIT for their M.Tech. The top roles offered are in bank jobs in my course.

Infrastructure: There are 4 classrooms in our faculty. 1 computer lab for CSE. There is internet available . There is a central library, so you can easily borrow books from our library. The faculty hostels are good; the food quality of the hostel is medium, although the canteen's food quality is good.

Faculty: Our teachers have a PhD or Mtech degree. Their teaching quality is too good. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant in our university. Semester question paper used to be from an external teacher so the questions are more moderate, but if you study hard, then easily you get good marks.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in agriculture. I think our faculty teachers would improve in some subjects. There are 2 festivals in our university and there are going to be many cultural programs in our university.

It is a good university but like other universities offering B.Tech.

Placements: 0 percent placement is provided in this college. No company visits this college. I have no idea about packages. Some fertilizer company wanted to hire B.Sc. agricultural students. No college team provided internship.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Bathroom is not so good. Snakes are there on the campus. Insects are there too. A Library is also available. The lab is not so good. Rooms are available but their quality is not so good. A playground is available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and qualified. Some teachers have come from IITs. The course makes students ready for industrial work. Semester exam is too hard so study hard to clear the exam. The percentage of passing is 75. So, it is a good enough college to complete your B.Tech degree.
