In the last round, the closing percentile among the General Home State category candidates varied between 95.51 and 99.85. VJTI Mumbai is a government institution owned by Maharashtra State Government.  The institute is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is financially supported by the Government of Maharashtra. Moreover, It is one of the 14 institutes selected by the Central Government for development in Engineering education post-independence with a grant-in-aid from the Centre.

 VJTI Mumbai MHT CET Cutoff 2023 ranged between 95.51 and 99.99, wherein B.Tech. in Computer Engineering was the most competitive specialisation, followed by B.Tech. in Information Technology for the General category in the Home State quota. 

For the OBC HS quota, the cutoff percentile was in ranges of 92.5 to 99.77,  wherein B.Tech. in Computer Engineering was also the toughest specialisation for this category.
