VJTI-bas naam hi kafi hain.
Placements: The placements in the college are top notch. It is actually one of the oldest colleges in India and the best college after IIT Bombay for students in Mumbai. Each one is sure to be placed no matter what his or her CGPA is (like it should be decent which can be 6.5+). Every year 200 software companies, as well as core companies, visit the campus to attract the 'cream' of talented graduates who have the potential to lead the mega projects single-handedly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that much up to the mark, but the location of the college is at the heart of Mumbai, so its obvious that campus area is limited. But the infrastructure doesn't affect that much as long as you have the brightest minds in India to hang out and share real knowledge with them. The campus area is about 19 acres which includes a football ground, a cricket ground, a basketball court, gymkhana, gym, hostel, internet labs, study space, canteen, auditorium, quadrangle and much more.
Faculty: The faculty is not that much good, and you have to do self-study. But I think that's the best thing because you get to know that how could you tackle the real-life problems without being taught or trained by anyone. You will also get a hands-on experience of the real corporate world, and it will help you to prepare throughout.
Other: If you want placements, then go for it. Even if you want to possess Master's, then you are in a proper place because many seniors will guide you throughout your preparation whether it is for MBA, MS, or M.Tech. If you want to prepare for the government exams, then I strongly suggest that you should try out a different college because it is much more oriented to current trends in a particular field and the college expects you should be engaged in that thing only.
