Students can opt for this college only if they want good placements.
Placements: Placements in our college are great, especially for computer and IT branches. Top recruiting companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Samsung, JP Morgan, etc., visit the campus every year. More than 50% of students from our branch got an internship in the third year.
Infrastructure: All the labs do not have an air-conditioning facility. Wi-Fi facility is available, and the speed is good. The food served in the canteen is good though there is not much space, it is always overcrowded. There are not many sports facilities if we compare the campus of K J Somaiya. There are no seats in the library. The study space is also inadequate.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not very helpful. We are kind of on our own. I agree that teachers have a lot of knowledge of their own domains, but they don't teach properly. The difficulty level of exams is very high. Even if the course curriculum is pretty relevant, it does not make us industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this college because of the brand name. But if you are an average student like me, it will make your life difficult, especially in the CS course.

No, admission to B.Tech in Computer Engineering at VJTI Mumbai is only through MHT CET. The institute doesn’t offer direct admission without an entrance exam. If you're aiming for VJTI, you must appear for MHT CET and go through the CAP rounds based on your score.

To get B.Tech admission in VJTI Mumbai, you need to appear for the MHT CET exam. Based on your score and category, you’ll have to go through the CAP (Centralized Admission Process). VJTI has high cutoffs, especially for CSE and IT, so aim for a strong CET score. Keep documents ready for counseling.

There are mainly 15 seats for lateral entry in every branch. So, if you really want admission to VJTI your Maharashtra rank should be in the top 20. The exact cutoff is difficult to tell because it depends on various factors, like the result of the diploma that year, the no students, and many more.
