Good platform for students who want to pursue a degree, and the teaching is good.

Placements: 70% of students were placed in ECE. .4 LPA is the average package offered in this course. Zoho, Sifi, Hexaware, and Accenture are the top companies for this course. 50% of students got internships from your course, Software roles, DevOps, and graduate trainee.

Infrastructure: In our ECE department, there are many facilities like microprocessor and microcontroller lab, VLSI lab, network lab, digital signal processing lab, digital electronics lab and optical lab. Quality of food is medium, and the sports and games support is not enough.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make one industry ready. The first four semesters are quite tough, and the other four are easy to clear. The pass percentage must be at least fifty percent.

Other: I chose this course because I have good learning motto.

Velammal College of Engineering and Technology Canpus Review.

Placements: Students with 80% of marks in 12th board or management with a donation of ?4 lakh. The highest package offered was 20 LPA, the lowest package offered was 3 LPA, and the average package offered was 5-9 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Zoho, TCS, HCL, and Accenture recruit students. Internships will not be provided by the college. Core roles are very rare; mostly students are placed in the IT sector.

Infrastructure: The facilities are quite perfect for the requirements of the course. The whole college is designed as a single block which contains all departments. Canteen food is average. Hostel food is actually good. Hostel facilities are nice and good. Sports and games are available, but support won't be provided by the management.

Faculty: The teachers are very professional. They are better and different from school teachers. Teachers are very helpful and approachable anytime. The lessons of the 1st year are basic; core subjects begin from the 2nd year. Semester exams are not so tough. The pass percentage is 87%.

Other: ECE is the most in-demand course in the engineering field currently. ECE students explore both electronics and communication fields. It is an advantage in placements. It would be better if it had practical coaching. Events are very rare.

Our college provides good placements.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5.2 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Around 65% of students get internships. Around 40% of students are placed. Zoho is the top company that visits here for placements. Students do not get internships, and there is no tour as well. For our college, mostly information technology companies will visit our campus to hire students.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are vast and well-ventilated. There are six fans and six lights in each class. We have 3 computer laboratories for UG, and one computer laboratory for PG. We also have a server room which has an internet and other server controls for all laboratories. It also provides a library, which has all books and journals that students need. There is no Wi-Fi connectivity in our college. The facilities provided in the hostels are good. The rooms are highly ventilated and clean. The food served is tasty, but the quality is good. There is one dispensary near our hostel where we can avail medical facilities for minor diseases. There is a hospital owned by our college which is reachable by 5 minutes from our hostel. Sports and games like basketball, cricket, kabaddi, badminton, kho-kho, etc., are available. The is no Wi-Fi connectivity in our college for students, but the internet is available in computer laboratory. Our campus is very small.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they always clear students' doubts. All staff members in our department are Ph.D. scholars, and some of them are M.E. The teaching quality is good. Our course curriculum is relevant to IT companies, and it makes students industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course, because of my interest in IT companies especially, I want to get placed in Zoho. The best thing about our course is that it has good placements. Minority scholarships are offered by the central government of India, and also the first graduate scholarships are provided by the Government of Tamil Nadu. We also have extracurricular activities like NSS, Red Cross, etc. Technical events like Symposium and cultural fests are held in this college.

Review of Velammal College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The top recruiting company of our college is CTS. Application support must be given for most of the students. In our course, the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. About 2% of the students got internship others, and students who put efforts also got an internship offer. Most of the companies are hiring students of Velammal Engineering College of Chennai.

Infrastructure: They have only a single block for the whole college, and there is nothing to say about infrastructure. Classrooms are average. The hostel is the worst, and there is no freedom in college. Even they do not allow students to use mobile phones. Food served is very bad.

Faculty: Teaching is better than other colleges. Teachers are not qualified and knowledgeable, and mostly topper students are studying in VCET, so it is very easy to handle them. The course curriculum is not relevant. They teach something different, and they didn't teach core as well as programs. Nowadays, companies hire only programmers, but teachers here only teach theory but not practical.

Our college provides good placements and teaching.

Placements: Almost 98% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Zoho is the top recruiter. Around 80% of students get internships through companies. The top role is assistant manager.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi is enabled. Laboratories and classrooms are good. It also provides a library, and the supply of books is not good. Our hostel is very fair enough to be compared, because of inadequate supplies, and food timing is also not good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful during semester examinations. They are ready to clarify students' doubts at any time. They follow Anna University regulations 2017. So it does make students industry-ready. Only a few subjects are very hard to study. The pass percentage is 70%.

Other: I like to be in IT and core companies, so I opted for this course. Fests like Symposiums and cultural fests are conducted in this college for enjoyment.
