Very honest, this was the best decision of my life.
Placements: Maximum students get placed every year, their placement ratio is very good. The highest package is 11 LPA, the average is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA, but the maximum number of students got placed in average slots. 89 percent of students are placed every year. Software developer is a role offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities are of the top-notch. They include air conditioners, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. We have five cafeterias inside the college. The medical facilities are also provided by them. We have two hostels for boys. One for girls with premium security also has 23 stationery shops.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching experience is very nice, and they teach us in the best way possible. The course is very irrelevant, that's why I'm doing it, and it's making trust ready for the industry visit sometimes, and exams are a bit difficult, you have to study.
Other: I found the course very interesting and usable in the future. That is the reason I chose this college. I want to improve everything about this course. Everything is perfectly organized, and the fests are conducted campus crowd is also good. They have connectivity, and the campus surrounding everything is perfect.

It has a good curriculum and helps in learning tech which industry refers more.
Placements: Placement opportunities are so good in this college. Companies like Nvidia, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and a lot more than 500 companies come to campus. Roles like backend developer, frontend developer, full stack developer, data science engineer, data engineer, business analyst, etc., are offered by the companies.
Infrastructure: The college does not have its own hostel facility, but around the college area, there are a lot of hostel facilities and mess facilities under the 500-meter area of the college. Libraries and reading rooms are open for students for their studies with Wi-Fi facilities. The college has a canteen, but frankly speaking, the food is not that good. The college has a cafeteria and two small canteens like FNF. It has good food. On the college's backside, there is a hotspot lane and there are a lot of options to eat like rolls and chats. The mess has good quality food.
Faculty: Teachers of this college are so helpful and supportive. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it is so helpful for our industry-level entry. The curriculum involves cloud, DevOps, DSA, and languages like Java, Python, C, and C+. It has an exam structure like it has two written exams in the semester and end-semester. Other than this, we have CIEs (online MCQ exams on chapters of subjects), and moral and SCE exams.

It has an awesome campus and good placements.
Placements: Placements are quite good. Many companies visit our college for placement. This year, more than 300 students got placed with decent packages. The average package here ranges from 6-8 LPA. The highest package offered this year till now is 18 LPA. Big companies like IBM, Morgan Stanley, PayPal, etc., visit the college to hire students.
Infrastructure: The campus is too good for a quality hostel life and college life. Classrooms are well-maintained and clean. The infrastructure is too good, with proper quality labs and hostels. The food is good and easily available around the campus. The college has a huge ground for sports activities.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and are always helpful. The course curriculum in this college is efficient, which consists of internship modules where students can gain industrial experience as well. Exams are not difficult, and we can score good marks easily.

Good college for those who didn’t want so much stress like other engineering colleges.
Placements: The Nvidia, which is known as a prestigious company, comes only in VIIT college as well as BlackRock, Ansys, and much more well-recognized companies also came to the placement drive. If you are good at DSA, then nobody can stop you from taking a 10 LPA job. The college offers so many opportunities for us.
Infrastructure: The food quality is good, you can eat it, and on Sunday it’s definitely very good. It’s like hotel food you get on Sunday, and you will also get a sports area as well as a geyser and daily needs objects in the hostel. One thing you didn’t like about the college is that there are so many branches in the college that there will be a crowd around you.
Faculty: Faculty is so helpful that they give holidays for second-year and third-year students to prepare for internships, and as well, college time is not that much like other engineering colleges in Pune. The semester passing is much easier in our college. If you are attending college regularly and paying attention, you will get 8.5 CGPA always in each semester. For internship modules, your CGPA should be above 8.5, and for placement drives, your CGPA should be greater than 8.
Other: Activities are always conducted for so much time that you always participate in much more stuff.

Honest review of VIIT campus.
Placements: 10% of students get placed only every year. Till now, the highest package was 15 to 20 LPA and the lowest was 2 to 3 LPA. Companies like Cisco, Wipro, and TCS come for campus placements. 5% of students get internships. That’s an average. There are no roles offered in our course. If you want to get admission to this college, think again; you may get better options too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too boring. Literally, the projectors don’t even work properly in the class, the labs are okay, and the canteen is also not so good. Talking about the hostel, it’s also a bad experience. The hostel doesn’t even have good facilities. The college doesn’t even have a sports ground for each game. As a sports person, I always felt bad for taking admission here. Medical facilities are not even available.
Faculty: The teachers are good. The curriculum is also designed very well. The marking scheme is best; exams are also not that tough, and you’ll pass easily. The curriculum is a little bit sufficient from your placement point of view. Semester exams are too easy, and the passing marks are only 16. You’ll pass easily.
Other: At the time of admission, I was thinking this is the best college and I chose this college for my engineering, but when I came here, the reality felt hard. The environment is not good, and even the area around the college is not so good. In the college, there’s a place called "hotspot" where people go to smoke, and sometimes we have to go through that road because the gate may be closed. So, this is not safe for girls or boys. Scholarships are provided by the government and come every year. There’s only one fest per year.

Review for VIIT, Pune College.
Placements: Most of the students get placed in my college, around 90-95%, while the rest opt for Masters or have their own startup. The highest and the lowest packages I have known so far are 40 LPA and 8 LPA, respectively. The top companies which visit my college are NVIDIA and Microsoft, and the majority of the students get internships as well as junior software dev roles.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure of the college are great, and the departments are well maintained with excellent services and hospitality. The admin dept is known for its fast services for the students. The quality of the food available is okay, but all the other things like sports and medical are great.
Faculty: The faculty teachers are quite qualified and knowledgeable, and at the top of the work they do. The syllabus and the curriculum are well defined according to industry standards, while the exams conducted in the college at the end of the semester are of standard difficulty.
Other: I chose B.Tech in Computer Engineering because I am a technophile and want to build my own tech company in the near future. Even though I feel that the structure of my course is well defined, I still think there's some room for improvement in the structure of the education portals the college uses.

Overall, it's a good private college.
Placements: Over 120+ companies visited the campus, and 1500+ students were placed (as per the official college website). The highest package for the year 23-24 was reported to be 54 LPA, with the average being approximately 7.8 LPA. The number of students placed is slightly less, around 70 percent, since some students opt for higher studies, some have their own startups, and others do not qualify as per company requirements.
Infrastructure: VIIT college does have a sports ground that is available for everyone, but it is mostly empty; students are not interested in sports. Very few students have sports teams, and they do represent the college in their respective sports. The infrastructure is average—not very bad, but not very good either. Considering the fees, they literally ask you to buy a 1.5k kit and other accessories, excluding a calculator and other basic items, despite charging 200k from students per year.
Faculty: The teachers are very cooperative and decently qualified. However, you would need to study alongside your ongoing college syllabus. Though VIIT is an autonomous institute and SPPU affiliated, its syllabus is not very up-to-date.

Discovering VIIT: A Visitor's Perspective.
Placements: Eligibility criteria for placement are mostly provided by the recruiters. Some big names are there, like Amazon, NVIDIA, Infosys, and more. The highest package went around 32 LPA for the year 2022-23. The average package is around 8 LPA, and 82% of students got placed (on-campus + off-campus + entrepreneur + higher education). My focus is to develop the skillset required to work in the video games industry and then the rest.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for Computer Engineering at VIIT is impressive and highly conducive to learning. The classrooms are well-equipped with modern teaching aids such as projectors, smart boards, and audio-visual systems, ensuring an interactive and engaging learning experience. The lecture halls are spacious, well-lit, and air-conditioned, providing a comfortable environment for students. The campus boasts state-of-the-art laboratories that are essential for practical learning and research. The labs are well-maintained and equipped with the latest instruments and technology, allowing students to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills effectively. Additionally, the computer labs are stocked with high-speed internet and updated software, which are crucial for assignments and projects.
Faculty: I mainly opted for computer engineering because of my interest in video games. I want to work in the field of video games in the future. Being an autonomous institute, VIIT has a well-planned curriculum that could help students work on their skills. I think that the fee is on the higher side, and anyone opting for this college should look out for a scholarship (refer to MahaDBT portals). Talking about exams, each semester has two term exams, and the difficulty is moderate. The faculty also does a good job of teaching, and if you have any issues, then it is easy to approach faculty.
Other: The biggest fest of the college, "Gandharva," is organized in February. You can get books and journals on campus itself. Sports and extracurricular activities are also organized from time to time. The college has a hostel, and registration is easy for that, but I opted for a private hostel (in Sainagar) for living so I could save some money.
