B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.6
Best college in Pune for Civil Engineering.
Placements: The Civil Department at this college has relatively few students interested in campus placements compared to other departments like CS and IT. About 20% of the 80 students in the batch sought placement assistance, and most of them received offers. The highest salary package in 2023 was 5.5 LPA, offered by a core civil domain company based in Mumbai. Top recruiters were Worley, which offers roles such as junior engineer and others.
Infrastructure: The classrooms at this college are equipped with basic computers and projectors for teaching purposes, and green chalkboards are used for teaching most of the time. However, the labs are well-equipped with all the necessary computers and equipment for the various departments, as per their course requirements. The libraries have Wi-Fi, but access is restricted to those with campus IDs. There is no free Wi-Fi, and only academic websites are accessible. The hostel has excellent facilities, including Wi-Fi and regular cleaning services.
Faculty: The faculty members are great, as many of them are Ph.D. holders, and some of them are pursuing it. They all know about the civil engineering industry to the core. Their experience adds a lot of depth to the concepts they teach. The curriculum is relevant to the industry standards, but it depends on the students if they really understand it, and then only they can apply it. The semester exams are medium-level difficult, not much of a burden for a student who can study regularly.

The overall experience in the college is awesome.
Placements: The placements are good for the branch of IT and Computer Engineering. Placements are poor for the Civil and Mechanical branches. If you are from CS or it and your marks are good you will surely get the job at the end of the course. But if you area mech or civil guy then it will be quite difficult.
Infrastructure: The hostel is great also the mess is great and the food tastes nice and they also maintain hygiene. As per my experience, the quality of hostel and mess food is great and it's worth to stay in the hostel also our college has a central library so you can study there.
Faculty: Saying about faculty, the faculty for the civil department is awesome and they are very supportive. The teaching level is so high that you can crack any competitive exam without external classes your all doubts will be solved by the teachers also they will provide you with handmade notes if you ask them.

It is a good college with good infrastructure.
Placements: Only about 10% of students of our batch got placed. Core companies like Worley and JSW conducted drives in our college. Some students got placed in IT companies as well. The highest package offered by a core company was 3.5 LPA. Many students got internship opportunities from college and some government schemes as well.
Infrastructure: The college building is big and well maintained. The labs are also great, having all the necessary machines and tools. The library has ample important reference books. For study purposes, we also have a study hall. The hostel is well maintained, but mess food is okay.
Faculty: The civil department faculty are great and experienced and very helpful. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum isn't very relevant as the SPPU syllabus wasn't updated for our batch. But now that the college has become autonomous, the curriculum has become very relevant and makes students industry-ready.

Our college has good infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: There are enough opportunities for students to get placed in good companies. About 90% of seats are filled in the college. The highest salary package offered in the civil course ranges from 8-9 LPA. Some good companies like Accenture and Capgemini visit our college to hire students.
Infrastructure: Everything is good here. The infrastructure of the institute is very good and eco friendly. Labs are well-maintained. The library has an abundant amount of books to read. The hostel is good. The food served by the mess is not good. Our college does not even have a gym facility.
Faculty: Exams are quite difficult in college. You have to study hard to get passed. Teachers are highly qualified in the institute. They have a lot of experience. They are very friendly with the students and help them. I do not think the course curriculum makes students ready for the industry.
Other: There is full connectivity with a market and other facilities.

Good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements for IT and CS is almost 100% but there is no placement for civil branch. Civil engineering students are encouraged for internships and college has tie ups with some good construction companies. All the practicals related to the subject are carried out really well.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs and classrooms are clean and a available with all the necessary equipments and structures. Hostel rooms are cleaned every week and are spacious. The quality of food is good. Medical facilities are available and ground for football and basketball are available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They take great efforts to make students understand concepts well. It makes students understand concepts really well and hence makes the students Industry ready. Subject Teachers help students with not only their own subject but also with other subjects if in case required.

The college has good placement but is very strict and needs attendance.
Placements: The placements for civil department are few as the department is new in the college but rest other branches have a good placement in the college. The training and placement officer of our college has a great contact with many of the multinational companies.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure facilities and also is spacious. But there is no space for sitting in the campus other than lectures. The college has two grounds. Civil and mechanical department have a separate building and rest all the departments have their one building.
Faculty: Faculty of civil department is pretty good and supportive. Some teachers are always ready to help the students while some teachers teach very well. Sometimes there is a bit of partiality among the students. The faculty is also experienced and is available for students.
Other: The college organises a national level fest called as spectrum. The crowd in the campus is okay.

Best College for overall development.
Placements: No Placements for Civil Engineering students, infact most of the students proceed for Higher studies or UPSC/MPSC. Another option of getting placed is to appear for interviews open for all branches e. g. Capgemini, Amazon, etc. But no company related to civil engineering visit the campus for recruitment. There is tie up of college with Builder's Association of India (B.A. I) Which provides an opportunity to the students to learn various activities on site as well as practical difficulties which is very important in field of Civil Engineering.
Infrastructure: The Department of Civil Engineering PCCoE has a sanctioned intake of 60 students providing a huge infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories and classrooms. Wi-Fi facility is available in the campus only on laptops. Library contains sufficient copies of books compared to the number of students. Along with academics sports is given importance, hence every year inter-department sports events are arranged. Hostel (available both for boys and girls) is nice with proper security. The quality of food provided in the mess is okay (eatable) whereas the canteen food is good but limited menu.
Faculty: The college provides quality education which is not possible without good teachers. The whole staff has completed their Postgraduation along with doctorates. The teaching methodology is such that completing the whole syllabus within time, along with regular class test and unit test helps to improve the result. The progressive assessment of students is assessed by appointing parents teacher guardian. Proper industry exposure by arranging regular site visits is given which is required for Civil Engineering students to know the practical relevance of various subjects studies and also the recent trends in construction. Student to faculty ratio is 12:1.
Other: The College is located in a very nice locality with proper connectivity with bus stand and railway station at a distance of 0.5 km. The atmosphere in the campus is very pleasant and cleanliness is remarkable. The national level technical event TECHLLIGENT is held every year along with two days cultural programme SWARTARANG.

Your percentile is not very good, so there is less chance to get this college. Good luck.
