A place where discipline meets opportunities.
Placements: Around 95% of students are placed in the computer engineering course. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mastercard, Google, Microsoft, etc. The internship rate is 60%-80%. Top roles offered are data analyst, SDE, ML engineer, cybersecurity, cloud engineer, and web developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, and all other facilities are available for students. Mess and canteens are available. Various sports grounds like football, basketball, and volleyball. Various courts like badminton, squash, tennis (both lawn and table), and MI room facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable and teaching quality is also good. Semester exams are easy if students already studied before the exams and pass percentage is 40% in final exams. Practical knowledge is given more importance.
Other: Computer engineering is the most demanding course, so I chose it. There are many events organized in the college and one can become a part of them. Various fests are also organised and crowd is also good enough. Connectivity is the best thing I found here.

The experience of Army Institute of Technology.
Placements: My computer engineering branch batch is going to graduate in 2027. In my course, around 96% of the students got placed. The highest package on campus was 52 Lacs per year; the lowest is around 4 lpa; and average is 13 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, TATA, etc. Around 75% of students got internship in companies like Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. Top roles include marketing head, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available in classrooms as well as hostels. A separate library is present, which contains thousands of books, journals and research papers. All classrooms are smart classrooms. The facilities in the hostel are very good, with clean toilets and bathrooms. The food available in the mess is healthy and nutritious. My college has a special reputation in sports, as this is an army college. It has all the facilities for sports. And a nursing assistant is present for medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers at the college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They have huge experience teaching in their subjects. The quality of teaching is excellent. Yes, the curriculum is relevant. Job-specific subjects are present in the curriculum, which makes the students job-ready. The semester exams are easy to medium-level. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my interest in coding and programming languages. The best thing is that the subjects are industry-specific. To improve, I like to add more practical-based knowledge instead of theory. The events like technical aakriti, solutions, PACE, and sports aakriti took place in college.

Army Institute of Technology, Pune.
Placements: In Army Institute of Technology, almost 90% of the students from computer engineering branch got placements in the last academic year. The highest package was 56 Lacs per annum and the lowest package was 3 Lacs per annum. The average package stood at 10 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, BYN Mellon, Deutsche Bank and many others. About 30 percent of the students from computer branch got on-campus internships and many others got off-campus internships with companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon and others. The most common roles offered for the students are web developers and software engineers.
Infrastructure: There are about 10 classrooms for our branch which are used by different year students. The library is filled with a lot of books related to various domains from computer engineering field. Free Wi-Fi is available in the academic block as well as the hostel. The rooms and toilets in the hostel are average and always kept clean by the staff. The quality of food available in the mess is fine but as every week you will have the same menu, you may get bored with it. But as Swiggy and Zomato are easily accessible, it won't be much of a problem. There is a variety of sports facilities available in the campus itself along with a fully equipped gym.
Faculty: The college is affiliated to the Pune University so our college follows its curriculum. The academics are average since it does not include much of the important topics which are required to get hired into reputed companies. The faculty members are not so bad. The semester exams are not very difficult. Try not to get any backlogs as it will make it difficult to get the hostel in the Next year.
Other: I chose the Computer Science branch as it is the most growing field now. The seniors are really helpful and would guide through any domain if you are really interested. There are more than 20 clubs in the college and every month there are different events and programs organised by different clubs. The fests organised by these clubs are really impressive.

Army bratts making the college bright.
Placements: The placement here is above average; the college's average is around 14 LPA, whereas core branches CS and IT have an average of 16 LPA. Almost 98% of students get placed, further going for higher studies or for CDS AFCAT. The coding environment here is also appropriate.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are fully developed, having smart boards and Wi-Fi available everywhere in the academic block as well as in the hostel, with good speed. The food in the mess is also good enough. On Fridays and Sundays, you can pay and have your food.
Faculty: Here, exams always happen on time, be it insem or endsem. Just the workload is a bit high because classes run from 8:45 to 4:45 with practicals and lectures. The pass percentage is the same, at 33.3%. The teachers here are well-qualified, getting and teaching students with interest.

Just come and enjoy your beautiful four years here. You will never get this time in your life.
Placements: 1) I am a student in the 2nd year computer engineering branch. 2) Approximately 95 percent of my branch seniors were placed last year. 3) The highest package was 52 lacs, and the lowest was around 4 lacs. 4) ZS and DB are the top recruiters. 5) 40% of students get internship. 6) Almost all students are placed as software engineers.
Infrastructure: 1) All the classrooms and hostels are connected to the Wi-Fi of the Cisco company, which is not too fast. 2) The library has a separate building equipped with modern facilities. 3) Each class is equipped with a smartboard. 4) The hostel infrastructure is a little old but it is being renovated regularly. 5) The quality of food is average. Both non-vegetarian and vegetarian options are present. 6) There are two canteens, both of which are good and then there is a juice shop that is of good quality. 7) One medical assistant is deployed. The MI room is present in the college and has a particular time. The college has an ambulance, too. 8) Sports facilities are at a good level. Almost all the common sports are present on their respective grounds.
Faculty: 1) Some teachers are very supportive and helpful. 2) Almost all have completed their PhDs. 3) Some newbie teachers are less knowledgeable. 4) Engineers do not concentrate more on the concepts taught in college. They prefer YouTube as a good option. 5) Sometimes the curriculum seems irreverent because of the unnecessary assignments. 6) Students are industry-ready because they work on themselves. 7) Semester exams are at a moderate level. 96% of students pass easily.
Other: 1) I chose this course because it was the best option according to my JEE percentile. 2) The best thing is the placement opportunities at the college. 3) Unnecessary assignments can be removed and more practical knowledge should be taught. 4) Event opportunities are present throughout the year. When I am writing this interview, I have a competition tomorrow in the EV club. 5) Campus crows are connected because there are approximately 1500 students. 6) Almost 10–12 students in each class get one scholarship.
