High competition because of high intake.

Placements: Approximately 73% of students get placed. The average package is around 7 LPA, the highest package is 50 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Infosys, Deloitte, and Wipro. Very few students get internships through campus placements. Top roles offered include Senior Developer and Marketing Head.

Infrastructure: The internet speed is very good. Classrooms and labs are clean and well-structured. I am not staying in the hostel, so I do not know much about it, but it is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the college campus. Therefore, most students prefer taking PG accommodation near the campus.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is relevant and follows recent industry trends, which helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit difficult but easy to clear with proper preparation. The pass percentage is approximately 35% or above.

First impression as a first year.

Placements: The highest in Instrumentation was about 7 LPA. For Instrumentation and Control, the top recruitment is by Emerson. It's compulsory to have an internship in the 3rd year itself for industrial experience. Not all people get placed. Only 50% I would say get placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but college timings aren't regular as the intake of college is so much. It's difficult for them to handle this much crowd and maintain discipline too. It has labs, a library, and great classrooms, but faculty members are not that supportive for teaching.

Faculty: Professors are very good and nice, but not all of them. They have introduced some CS subjects too in our syllabus for, in case, mass placement in TCS or Infosys, as the core placement is somewhat low in my opinion. The curriculum is great to make students industry-ready.

Other: Fests are for the rich here; everything required a ticket. Even to play Ludo, you need a 20-rupee ticket. Below-average college fest, my school's annual function was bigger than this. Also, there was a very bad crowd during the fest here. Rivalry is so much that I don't know why. People are just mad over anything. Campus is good, placements are good, college is good. It’s the crowd, which certainly comes from the ILS round, that has a rivalry with regular students.

Pretty good college in terms of placements, but a little underdeveloped area compared to Pune city.

Placements: For my batch of 2027, multiple companies have come for internships and PPOs. Around 40-50 students are enrolled in these internships from our batch of around 360 students as of 2026. Companies like JP Morgan, Nvidia, Barclays, BlackRock, Mastercard, Zendesk, Phone Pay, etc., have visited our campus for placements, and many more are on their way. The average package is around 8-9 LPA, and the highest package is 33 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our campus is small and does not have an on-campus hostel. VIT has its hostel about 3km from the college. Students generally live in rented apartments or PG near the college (approximately 400 m). There is Khau Gali (a place with multiple food shops) for food, and the quality of food is good over here.

Faculty: Our syllabus is very diverse and is very relevant. Subjects like DSA, DBMS, OS, etc., are very relevant for industry readiness. Most of the teachers are qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. Semester exams comprise course projects, presentations, lab exams, theory exams, etc., and it is pretty easy to clear.

Placements: In VIT Pune Computer Engineering placements (2025), 98 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 45 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 8.66-10.2 LPA. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Microsoft, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, and Nvidia. 86-94 percent of students get internships in companies like Nvidia, IBM, Persistent, and HSBC. The top roles offered are software engineer and data analyst. Many companies visit the college to hire students.

Infrastructure: Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) Pune offers robust facilities tailored for B.Tech Computer Engineering students like us, including modern labs and campus-wide Wi-Fi. Student reviews highlight a well-equipped infrastructure supporting academic and extracurricular activities. Computer Engineering features specialised labs like the project lab, research lab, Nvidia visual computing lab, network lab, system software lab, data science lab, and software engineering lab (IBM Center of Excellence). Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide good teaching quality (practical focus). The course curriculum is relevant and NEP-aligned. We become industry-ready via projects. Exams are moderate to easy. It has a minimum pass percentage of 40 percent. The high pass percentage is 90 percent. The college is very good.

It is a good college. There is about 80% placement ratio, and the infrastructure is also good.

Placements: Above 80% students are placed in our B.Tech Computer Engineering (Data Science) course. In our CSDS course last year, the highest package was 46-51 LPA, the lowest was 3.5-8 LPA, average package10-15 LPA. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Meta, Infosys, Aditya Birla.

Infrastructure: Saying about infrastructure, it is good. The living area is very good, but the mess is not that good, and there is no canteen in our hostel. Medical facilities are good their is a hospital in our hostel also. The sports and games facilities are also present.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. It is the most preferred course these days. It helps us to improve soft skills. There are many better semester exams held in college. The passing percentage is 35%. Faculty members are okay.

I am satisfied with the faculty and good placements. There is not much good infrastructure.

Placements: Placement percentage in VIT Pune is about 85-90 percent. The highest package offered ranges from 45-51 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 9.5-10.9 LPA. The lowest package offered ranges from 3.6-4.5 LPA. Companies that visit the college are tech giants like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Nvidia. Internship percentage is about 86-94 percent. Top companies that hire students for internships are Nvidia, IBM, Persistent Systems, and HSBC India.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, according to the college. Wi-Fi speed is very good, which is about 250 Mbps per second. Labs for practical knowledge are also present in good condition. Classrooms and the library are present. The hostel is good, and the food served is better than that of others. Medical facilities are also available. There is a good sports environment.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and have good knowledge about what they are teaching. Their teaching quality is very good and supportable. With the academic, students also become ready for industrial applications. Semester exams are not that difficult if we study during the semester. The pass percentage is about 35 out of 100 percent.

Other: I am interested in data analysis and data algorithms, so I chose this branch. I chose the college because the name of it is a big factor at the time of placements. It is an autonomous college, and not much has changed, but they are changing the syllabus every year. Events and fests are conducted as much as possible with no work and love for the students.
