VIT has events on a daily base, like every week has a new event and new energies, which help students to make minds fresh and also focus on extracurricular activities. Now we have fest Vishwakarandak and Gandharva in the upcoming period.

VIT Pune in a glimpse of an eye.
Placements: The placement scenario is decent, around 75% of students get placed. We need at least an 8 CGPA to sit for the placement. The highest package for CS is around 45 LPA and the average is around 7 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, and Accenture. I don't know much about internships as I am in the 1st year.
Infrastructure: We have great facilities like labs with Windows 11, Ubuntu, and new computers. Wi-Fi is in the labs. We have almost 3 libraries and around 7 well-maintained canteens. The libraries have all types of books. We do have an infirmary. For sports, we have a basketball court, badminton court, and cricket ground.
Faculty: The faculty is great; almost all are Ph.D. holders and a few of them are from IITs. They provide us with all the notes required for preparation for the semester exams. The exams are held every 6 months and are both written and project-based learning exams. The curriculum is almost up to industry level and the syllabus changes almost every 1-2 years.
Other: I chose VIT Pune because it's near my house and one of the best colleges in Pune with a great alumni network and peer group. My course, CS in IoT and Cybersecurity, I believe is something that will boom with the increase in the industry. We are going to have college fests in January, and I have high hopes for it. The campus is huge, and my school friends are also here, so I face no problem in making connections.

The college has very good placements compared to any other colleges in Pune.
Placements: Last year, it was about 98% with an average of 9 LPA, which is an excellent record for CS batches. The highest package was 51 LPA last year. Students get free internship programs and workplace experience along with company reinforcement from campus directly based on their talent.
Infrastructure: Nice infrastructure with well-maintained classes, a huge library, tutorial room, labs, and a reading room, making it the best place to learn along with interaction. Also, due to the reinforcement of both campuses, it’s now a worthy experience with connections on both sides.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, with almost everyone being an expert in their respective fields. Lectures and tutorials are conducted side by side. Also, regular semester projects and reports have to be given, which makes a student more formally ready for various office tasks.
Other: VIT has a culture of event management by students. The seniors set up events and organize them as per the needs. Paid events are very reasonable and worthy, along with being fun to hang out with fellow mates. Every event is unforgettable and joyful.

Excellent Crowd and Highly Qualified Teachers.
Placements: Around 75-80% students were placed during the academic year 2023-24. The highest package was 50 LPA, the average package is around 10-11 LPA, and the lowest package was around 3.5 LPA offered by mass recruiters, which is quite good compared to other Maharashtra State colleges.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, the faculty is quite good, and the most important thing, the crowd is full of toppers, as this is the third most preferred college after College of Engineering, Pune, and Pune Institute of Computer Technology. Overall, good review.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and conduct Google and Zoom meets regularly because they are highly qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, of course, because they've completely removed Physics and Chemistry from the entire 1st year (i.e., 1st and 2nd semesters both).
Other: The clubs here are awesome and are one of a kind, with an excellent crowd, to be honest!

All faculty members and Seniors are very helpful.
Placements: The placements of CS branch is good. The highest package was 51 LPA (year 2022). Average package for B.Teach CS passouts is 18 LPA. The placement may decrease in upcoming years due to crowd but average package may remain same. The placement record of Entc branch is the highest.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in Campus. Classroom are clean and spacious. Library provides all books necessary for the course. Washrooms are well maintained and clean. Water cooler are also there. Classroom don't have AC but well ventilated. Every classroom has projector.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and help students whenever needed. Teaching is based on the concept of making students ready for placements. Reasoning and aptitude tests are taken regularly. Semester exams are a bit difficult. It is hard to fails in semester exams.
Other: There is no placement record for CS CBI ( cybersecurity including blockchain technology and IOT). College takes various fun events, the EPEC cell conducts all the events. Campus is a bit crowded this year.
