Placement is very good in our college.
Placements: My branch is instrumentation and control engineering and in that branch in studying sensors and data science AI, and everything about industrial projects and many more in 2025. Almost 62% of students get placements in our course in instrumentation and control engineering. In this course, the indices are low for that reason the colleges are better.
Infrastructure: So in that area hostel is very good. The Wi-Fi facility, labs, classroom, and library are also excellent. Mess facility is expensive but good quality. The courses in instrumentation and control engineering are about industrial automation and AI learning in industry.
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams of our course are online mode in first year and 2nd year is offline mode that is why it is easy to pass 1st year. Faculty members are very happy and caring person about people so faculty members are very chill.

Absolutely satisfied with my college.
Placements: All female students are placed, while 30-40% of the male students are placed. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Honeywell, Emerson, Aditya Birla, Johnson Controls, and Tata Power are the top recruiting companies. Around 60-70% of students got internships
Infrastructure: The Instrumentation and Control Engineering department is well equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, advanced laboratories, and smart classrooms. The department also has a dedicated library with reference books, journals, and project reports to support academic and research work.
Faculty: The teachers in our department are extremely helpful, supportive, and always approachable for guidance. Their exams do not only depend upon written papers; they also include presentations and group discussions, which help students get placements and boost their confidence.

Advanced Facilities & Practical Infrastructure at VIT Pune's Instrumentation and Control Dept.
Placements: Approximately 75-80% of the students from the Instrumentation and Control Engineering course were placed during campus recruitment. Top Recruiting Companies: HONEYWELL, EMERSON, INFOSYS, SEIMENS ENERGY, etc. Around 70–75% of students received internship offers during their course.
Infrastructure: 1. Labs: The department is well equipped with modern laboratories, including: Process Control Lab: Features equipment for hands-on experiments related to process dynamics and control. Instrumentation Lab: Houses various transducers, sensors, and instrumentation devices. Control Systems Lab: Includes setups for studying different types of control systems and controllers. Industrial Automation Lab: Equipped with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automation tools. These labs are designed to provide practical exposure to students, enhancing their understanding of theoretical concepts. 2. Classrooms: Spacious, well-ventilated classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements. Equipped with audio-visual aids like projectors and smart boards to support interactive learning. Wi-Fi enabled access to online resources and e-learning tools during lectures. 3. Library: A well-stocked library with a vast collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, and research papers related to instrumentation and control engineering. Access to digital resources, including e-books, online journals, and databases. Reading rooms and study areas for students to work on their assignments and projects. 4. Wi-Fi and Internet Facilities: High-speed Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the campus, including in classrooms, labs, and common areas. Is VIT Pune worth it in 2024?
Placements: More than 80% of students are placed in VIT, with an average salary of around 8 LPA (overall), higher for CS students (around 12 LPA); the highest package goes up to 50 LPA. For instrumentation, we have a 100% internship and an average placement of 6 LPA. But several software companies allow core students to sit in their placements too.
Infrastructure: The college is quite small, with an area of just 7 acres. But there are several clubs and events that keep you engaged throughout the year. Most of the students don't take the college hostel as it is pretty far from college and also on the expensive side. Instead, there are private hostels, PGs, or even flats, which are a better option.
Faculty: The college curriculum is pretty good, with subjects like human engineering and Indian knowledge systems in the first year. There is a coding-related subject in all semesters for all branches. Exams aren't that difficult, as the college is autonomous, so almost all students pass. You will have a lot of time for self-study or even a side hustle.
Other: The semiconductor industry would likely boom in the next few years, considering that Entc or instrumentation is a good option.

Good aura in whole college, clean at its best, good placement.
Placements: In the branch of instrumentation and control engineering, majorly almost 96 percent students get placed and the highest package were 15 Lacs per annum and top companies were honeywell, semeins, Emerson, tetra pack, Philips, aditya birla Minimum 60 percent of students get internship from our course and roles where as system engineer, application engineer, control engineer.
Infrastructure: More like many facilities are there like Wi-Fi and each classroom is digitalize with screens and projector and classroom are clean. Infrastructure is good with lots of trees and whole campus is covered with trees. Each labs are well-equipped and has all necessary components needed for the labs to be done. There are 2 canteens in the campus and playing ground for cricket, badminton, football is also there.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and Has great knowledge in our field. Teaching skills are too good and help students to focus in there career goals. None teachers burden any student by any way they are polite and understanding.2 Exams are there and in that there are presentation, group discussion, and then written paper. There is jo fear of failure .
Other: Instrumentation and control engineering I chose because it is interesting and has scope in future and personally I had interest in automation and all sensors. I wish in our course more field visit were there in the time of teaching. Fest are there like vishwakarandak, vishwautsav and may other commute are there for extracurricular activities .
