The Honest Review of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune.

Placements: The placement of our college is above average, as it is in Pune, which is currently a hub of Maharashtra. Companies like Mercedes, Barclays, and Tata Motors visit every year to offer jobs to various students. But the competition for placement is huge, as there are many intelligent folks studying for the same.

Infrastructure: The course that I am pursuing, Software Engineering, is pretty good, and the curriculum of our college is also good as they follow a no-paper ideology in which we have to present various subjects and online exams are conducted frequently for the assessment of students.

Faculty: If you are someone who wants to explore their college life as far as possible, this college is worth it. Flagship events are lined up every single month, and you can be a part of it with amazing peers and create a memorable time, making your efforts worth it. Talking about faculty, the faculty is decent with good education and overall behavior. But the methodology is something that bothers me. So, according to me, that’s what I feel about it.

Other: Good college according to me, as it will give you an overall experience, and peers and seniors will help and guide you in every way possible.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of seat intake but good placements and really helpful faculties.

Placements: I am currently in the software engineering branch and there has been no passout batch till now since it was started 2 years ago. But looking towards similarities between software engineering and core computer engineering, the syllabus of both branches is the same. Hence, I expect the same level of placement in software engineering. According to me, the placement percentage of my college is 85-90%. The highest salary offered this year is about 52 LPA, the average salary was 7 LPA, while the lowest salary stood at 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters at my college are Microsoft, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Flipkart, Nvidia, etc. My course emphasizes more on subjects like web development, software development, software testing, full-stack development, etc.

Infrastructure: My college does not have their own hostel. Talking about facilities and infrastructure, the college has very nice infrastructure and wifi facilities are also available. There are various labs, and every lab contains proper accessories. There is a library containing more than 15000 books . Classrooms are really nice.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are really very helpful and highly qualified, having a great level of knowledge. The teaching quality is superb. My course curriculum is very relevant and it is totally from an industry point of view. The difficulty level of the exam is overall moderate. An average student can easily pass it.

Other: I personally have an immense level of interest in the software domain; hence, I chose this course. The best thing I like about it is that it is totally industry-dependent and there is much scope for practical knowledge. Various festivals are conducted on my college campus, such as Vishwakarandak, Vishvotsav, etc. The college provides various scholarships, such as mahadbt and cybagge khushboo.There are 52 different clubs for extracurricular activities for the overall development of students.
