Awesome faculty members and placement offers.
Placements: From my batch, 100% students got placed who ever sat for the campus placement. The highest package was around 12 LPA from Jaro Tech, and the lowest was 3 LPA from Sports Interactive. From my experience, BNP Paribas, IBM, and LTI were the best recruiters. Basically, very few people got internships; it may be 30%, and those are from off campus. The top roles would be data engineer, data analyst, and full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: For the CMPN Department (computer science), we have the best labs and library. But the classroom is like old school only. Wi-Fi will be only accessible in the labs and library, not in the classroom. The canteen is awesome; you can buy it anything, whatever you are craving. We have one floor for medical facilities and one for sports and games.
Faculty: The best faculty members are at our SFIT. Faculty members are very supportive and helpful, and mostly all have good knowledge and experience. You can ask any questions or doubts related to their expertise, and they will give the best solution for it. Also helping in building the projects and hackathons. I find little gap in curriculum and industry training, but to do this, we have a placement cell that fills this gap. If you finish everything that faculty members teach you, then it would be very easy; otherwise, you will find it difficult. I think 40% is the pass percentage.
Other: The reason for choosing the St. Francis Institute of Technology (SFIT) is just because here we have the best faculty members and placement offers. Internship opportunities can be improved. We have many fests and events organized on campus, whether they are one-time events or annual fests.

Everything you need to know about SFIT.
Placements: In 2022-23, placement offers went up to 41.13 LPA which was the highest package offered. The average package offered was 5 LPA. Axis bank, Byjus, Chegg India, LTI, and TCS are some of the top recruiters at SFIT. About 78% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: The FE department’s labs and library have well functioning air conditioners having good connections and desktops. The library contains all the books needed and we also have e-library for the students for easier access to books and PYQs. The quality of food in the canteen however is not great and there are not much food options available.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have done their Ph.D. and are quite helpful. They are always keen to help us and are approachable. The teachers also explain why it is necessary to study a particular course and how it will help us the in future which makes the students cultivate more interest. The exams are held every month in forms of practicals, IAT and assignment tests.
Other: Coding has always been my passion and this college has always encouraged me to follow the path of my desire. I do wish the students had more time for themselves as the exams that are held every month keeping the students under stress constantly. The college takes great desire in sports like football, cricket, throw ball, table tennis, etc. The fests are filled with fun activities.

If you did not join this college, you will miss many opportunities provided by the college.
Placements: Our college provides placements in good companies like Airbus, Capgemini, and Accenture. In the previous year, the salary package offered was 33 LPA. The most common recruiting companies were TCS and Abbot. We have a TPO person who makes sure every student gets placed.
Infrastructure: The campus does not have a Wi-Fi facility. Laboratories are equipped with air-conditioners and are regularly cleaned. All equipment is updated, and machines are also regularly cleaned.
Faculty: During the pandemic, there was less time for exams. Students got six months for the first year, and the third semester was finished in just three months. All professors helped students and made sure that every student understood what they were taught.
Other: Our college conducts many events. Many students participate in events. We have many committees that boost your resume and help you to learn and get better placements.

I am satisfied with the faculty, good infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: The top recruiting and most consistent companies in St. Francis are TCS, L&T, Infosys and Ugam. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA and 7 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was approximately 12 LPA. 135 people appeared for placements, out of which 71 got placed in TCS and 25 got placed in L&T.
Infrastructure: Every classroom has a projector, a whiteboard, blackboard and comfortable benches. Wi-Fi is available in the library and computer labs. The library has air-conditioning installed recently. The canteen is quite clean and offers good food at low prices. The college has a football ground, a basketball court and adequate space to carry out various sports activities. We have a gym in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are well versed in their syllabus and portions. The teaching quality is great, and they provide you with the required study materials through Google classroom and other platforms. Semester exams are quite easy to ace if you have both practical and theoretical understanding of what was taught in class. You understand it first in class and then apply it during practicals to grasp the concept better. The pass percentage is 40% in every exam. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: St. Francis conducts an event called IRIS, held every year. It requires a lot of teamwork to conduct this event on a large scale every year. The SFIT has successfully been able to do that for a decade.

Our college is decent with good placement cell.
Placements: Placement cell is good. They keep bringing in as many companies as they can, throughout the final year. Most people get placed atleast in one company. Few people are still trying for better placements. Last year the highest salary package was 18 LPA. There are lot of recruiters like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Hexaware, LTI, etc. Placement cell is very helpful and in-charge Wilson sir is always ready to help with doubts.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is fine. Classrooms are big and nice. First-year students have air-conditioners in their classrooms. There is no shortage of computer labs. All the computer labs have air-conditioners. Computers are not bad and all of them have internet access. There is Wi-Fi in computer labs. Library is fine with reference books for all the courses but there are no books for entertainment, like fictional novels or any other kind of novel. Canteen is not the best. There are sports facilities like a basketball court, a place for volleyball, football, etc. There is a club room for table tennis, carrom, etc. Hostel is adequate, some rules like curfew are strict, you can't enter or leave the hostel after the curfew.
Faculty: Teachers are fine and very good. Few teachers genuinely care whether students are understanding and learning what is being taught. Most of the teachers are very knowledgeable about and are easy to approach. All the teachers are always ready to solve your doubts. Some of the teachers are not so knowledge about what they teach.
Other: The crowd is varied. There are all sorts of people. Campus life is the best. The rules are a bit strict so a bit annoying. Some of the rules are a bit ridiculous. We started getting notices in the email about these ridiculous rules. There are fests and events but they are not so grand as they are within the college and outsiders are not allowed to participate. Sports competition have to be within the college no other colleges are allowed. There are lots of communities like CSI, ITSA, Code, IEEE, etc. Its fun to be part of them. There are lots of workshops held by the committees to provide a lot of outside knowledge.

Its a good college to study engineering .
Placements: The placement ratio is pretty good almost all the students gets the placement except for those who opt for Masters. The highest package was about 16 lacs and average package for computer engineering is 4-5 lacs depends on your skills. L&T emerges as top recruiter. Internship programs are not there so you have to find it off campus. Roles are like doing projects on python Java and so on.
Infrastructure: Its a bit of old fashioned college but infrastructure is pretty good. Labs, classroom are clean and have all the facilities. Library has all the books which a student needs. I never stayed in hostel so I don't know about that but for medical facilities it is good and there are many tournaments for cricket, football, chess etc.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and are highly qualified but talking about the quality they all run after completing syllabus I guess that happens in all colleges. After 4 years of study you obviously become industry ready. The first semester and second semester are headache like if you pass those without KT you will pass all seems with ease. I don't know the pass percentage but mostly all gets KT in at least one subject .
Other: I chose this course because it was my passion and obviously its in demand the best thing about this course is the teachers are teaching in good way. One thing I would like to improve is stop giving assignments but that's not possible. There is garba night, francis day, Christmas eve and many events and fest. Talking about the crowd it pretty awesome college is about 3 km from Borivali station there are many tech events and mentoring sessions.

Good placements with plenty companies, discipline is must, proper work play ethics, decent crowd.
Placements: The highest placements in the year 2021 are thanks to the TPO and the college for such opportunities. Work on your skills like programming/ database/ data structures from 1st year itself will greatly help for higher packages. The TPO is really helpful. You can contact them for your career guidance too.
Infrastructure: Greenery all around the campus. Well maintained and clean all around, spacious campus if you make use of this its a really good place to study and hang out. The canteen is okay, not bad not very good. The food is okay and the canteen is really clean so don't worry about cleanliness.
Faculty: Exams are as per the Mumbai university curriculum so it's well-recognised. All around the world, many people do MS in the US after engineering. The college is well recognised too so don't worry about the standards, the college is pretty good.

Great institute for learning and growth, super placements in 2019 and excellent infra and facilities
Placements: More than 90% students are placed from 2019 batch. The college has an extremely brilliant and supportive TPO who is getting good companies for placement. Top recruiters are usually mass recruiters like TCS and LTI. (mix roles). However many students are getting placed in other companies like Siemens, Xoriant, BNP, Hexaware, browserstack, etc. (most dev roles). Mass recruiters offer the average package of 3.5 lpa. Others usually offer between 4.5 and 7 lpa, the highest package from 2019 is 16 lpa.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs and library is excellent with all relevant data. Wi-Fi is not available in college. Quality of food in the canteen is average, however can improve with changing management. Sports is encouraged in after college hours, courts are present for basketball football throwball badminton .
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified, dedicated, super knowledgeable and helpful at all times. Quality of teaching is really good compared to many other engineering colleges in the city, passing percentage is quite high. The course curriculum is not very updated to industry standards, however college helps with extra tech courses which students can take up.
Other: SFIT is a great place to study computer engineering at. The crowd is mostly suburban, students are bright and helpful, cultural and tech-fest is super lit, college also puts up periodic notices on scholarships for students and extra technical courses from top universities with whom college has tied up and which students can do avail to better their skills.
