I am absolutely satisfied with placements of the automation course.
Placements: I am from the Automation and Robotics branch. We are the first batch for it. To be honest, placements are really good for students who want to pursue their careers in the automation industry. But for students who want to make a career in robotics, it is a bit problematic, as the branch is new. There are not many robotics companies to invite for placements. I can say the same for the internship opportunities. Our students get internships in many big industries like BARC, BPCL, HPCL, etc. It is for automation-related fields only, and there are not many opportunities for robotics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. It has a great campus with a garden in the center and different colleges covering it. The college also has a turf and grounds to play cricket and other sports. The college has 7 floors, where each floor is assigned to a particular department.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive in terms of bringing opportunities for students to grow. They encourage us to build projects and participate in hackathons and other stuff. The course curriculum is up to date with what is required now. Exams are held twice in each semester. There is 1 mid-term exam and one end-semester exam. It does not follow the three exams in each semester rule in Mumbai University, as our college is autonomous.
Other: Our college does not have any flagship event like a DJ, but it organises many events like traditional weeks and celebrations for Ganesh Chaturthi. It also organises technical events where new minds get an opportunity to gain experience from industry experts.

VESI - where dreams die.
Placements: If you're in VESIT, just forget about placements. There is no one who even talks about them not even teachers. Everyone, including faculty, seems to be caught in a rat race.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is just okay. From the outside, it looks decent, but once you step in, the reality hits different. Classrooms feel outdated, like something from the early 2000s, with broken benches making more noise than students. Projectors either don't work or display blurry slides forget about having ACs.
Faculty: Faculty members, curriculum, and exams for our course are straight-up the worst in the country. You notice every day how teachers seem more interested in killing students' motivation than building their futures. They just throw a theory-heavy syllabus at us. Labs are almost non-existent or just about copying from seniors no innovation, no real-world applications. Labs exist only for submissions and assignments, nothing more. There are so-called 'extraordinary' professors are actually responsible for the students' downfall mentally, academically, and skill-wise. Teachers focus more on burdening students with useless extra work, which affects CGPA and leaves many students unplaced forever. Students are stuck in rote learning, so they are neither strong in academics nor equipped with practical skills. There's no fun just a life filled with stress and decline overall.
Other: Please don't take admission in this college. My three years of experience suggest that you should go to any other college with no attendance criteria, excel there, participate in hackathons, learn skills daily, and go for off-campus placements. Life will be set.

Modern infrastructure and student-friendly campus.
Placements: VESIT provides excellent placement opportunities for electronics students. They maintain strong ties with leading companies like L&T, TCS, Siemens, and Reliance Jio. The placement cell organizes various seminars and workshops for helping students stay industry-ready.
Infrastructure: VESIT has big campus with good infrastructure featuring modern classrooms and well-equipped labs for as per the syllabus required. Institute has two Library 1st overall college library and 2nd is department Library. Hostel facilities are available for outside Mumbai students.
Faculty: VESIT is an autonomous college curriculum that is relevant to students to learn from basic to advanced knowledge about the subject. The college has also taken guest lectures and industrial visits according to curriculum and future requirements for students.
Other: VESIT has different organisations like I.S.T.E., NSS, and e-cell; under this, they plan various events that will enhance knowledge and help with leadership qualities.

An actually good college in Mumbai with up-to-mark facilities.
Placements: 393 students were placed.
15 LPA is the highest package in 2024 as of July.
Roles like data analyst and data scientist are offered for those in AI in this course.
Other roles include web development and SDE.
About 110 recruiters visited in 2024 and are still counting.
30 LPA was the highest salary for 2023, with a total of 529 offers.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole college.
The canteen and mess have good food with many options, all made in a very hygienic kitchen.
Indoor sports rooms are available for playing chess, carrom, and table tennis. One ground, not full size, with a goal post is there.
A rooftop turf is also available, which is regularly maintained .
Faculty: Most teachers are decent; some cannot deliver the material up to expectations but those get replaced. Feedback is always asked for every semester.
Exams are moderate to tough, with a passing percentage of 40% in any exam, whether midterm, external, or practical.
The course curriculum is now up to industry standards and makes students industry ready.
Other: The college has a good campus and the courses here keep getting updated as per technological trends.
Some more emphasis on practical work and input from teachers on building things would be appreciated.
Events in the college are pretty good, both cultural and technological. There aren't many intercollegiate events hosted by our college but we always take part in those happening elsewhere.

A review of VESIT gives detailed information about the college and course .
Placements: In good amount, the company visits the college. And also, the number of students getting placed is good.
Placement is average but better than other colleges in the city.
The top recruiters are Capgemini, HCL tech, TCS, etc.
The average package is 5 lacs.
A good percentage of students get placed and also avail themselves of internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and campus are very good and bigger than other colleges. The college has ample open space.
All the labs are well-equipped with good-condition computers. Also, the library is very good and huge, with a wide range of books. Sports facilities are also good, both indoors and outdoors.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and have higher education. All have a Master's or Ph.D. degree. They are very supportive, and they are always ready to solve doubts by giving extra time. The exams are held twice every semester.
The passing marks are 40%.
The exam is moderate .
Other: The college is above average in the city. The crowd is also decent.

Famous and popular college to pursue Engineering.
Placements: Placements are good in the college; that is, it is better than most other engineering colleges. Students achieve their dream jobs through the college placement cell. Packages offered range from 5 LPA to 20 LPA. Companies visit the college in large numbers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is nice. A Wi-Fi facility is present throughout the college. The library of the college is just amazing. The college also has an amphitheatre for the students to use during their free time, and various events also take place there. Some classrooms have AC, whereas others do not. The college only has one canteen, and hence the crowd is always present there.
Faculty: The college has now become autonomous, and hence they have designed their own curriculum according to the needs of modern industry. Most of the faculty members are odd, but some are amazing as well. Semester exams are taken considering the students. Most of the students pass easily if they pay attention to lectures.

Yes, the faculty at VESIT is highly qualified, cooperative and experienced. Almost all the faculty members hold PhD degrees. The institute has been ranked as best by India Today for it's faculty.
