Placements: It did not provide any company placement because there is no company for Zoology students so far, but it helped us to get our dream labs and colleges for further studies. Even 2 of our students are placed in Germany for higher studies. It also provided overall development for other jobs, like government exam preparation, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides high-quality infrastructure with smart classes and fully equipped labs for quality education. The library is well-furnished and contains the latest versions of the books. It has a separate indoor games room and a union room to spend quality time with others. The newly renovated canteen maintains hygiene in the food provided.
Faculty: Teachers are always ready to help. The curriculum is made to complete the syllabus within the stipulated time. Semester exams are always moderate, but they are made easy by our professors. The passing percentage is 30%. The college does mold students to be industry-ready. Whichever firm we choose, their guidance will help us sustain there easily.
Other: This college provides the best faculty members with modern lab instruments to learn with. Besides studies, the college provides for co-curricular activities like hill climbing, drama club, and sports club. It allows holding fests and parties occasionally, like freshers' and farewell parties.

Our college provides excellent placements and outstanding environment.
Placements: Almost 75% of the students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered ranges from 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Abbott and Dr Reddy are the top recruiting companies of our course. Around 30-40% of the students got internships in Dr Reddy Lab as research persons and medical representatives.
Infrastructure: Our department is very enthusiastic, and they've made a departmental library by their efforts. Wi-Fi facility is provided out of the staffroom. Classrooms are also very convenient. Our department organises various sports, debate competitions and lectures to make students more eligible in every aspect of life. The canteen on the campus serves healthy food.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. They also take extra classes. They show us various projections and lab works so that we can get the concept easily. Most of the teachers are PhD holders. They also prepare us for future interviews and lab works, so that our work will be most scientific amongst others.
Other: I'm interested in biochemistry so I decided first to study these exciting subjects so that it'll become easier for me to understand biochemistry. Washrooms on the campus should be more clean and hygienic. Our college is ragging free.

The College with simplicity and warmth.
Placements: It is a college that offers graduation courses on a wide range of subjects and post-graduation courses on some, and since the subjects are non-technical, campusing or any placement drives are not very common in the college. However, some MNCs have visited the college quite a few times and have recruited some of her students in various job roles (e. g data entry associates).
Infrastructure: The college has a very well-equipped zoology, botany and biochemistry laboratories. The mass communication and journalism department have a good infrastructure. The library is nice but needs more modernization. The canteen can be extended with an increase in the variety of food items.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. Our college had one of the finest zoology departments among all colleges in Kolkata. All the professors in the zoology department were holding a Ph.D. degree. The college would provide funds for research projects done by students with one of the college professors as a guide.
Other: The college has been very supportive and enthusiastic about co-curricular activities.

Joining Vivekananda College is worthy.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Nearly 10% of the students from our college are studying in the USA, and other countries and about 50% of the students are studying outside West Bengal.
Infrastructure: The campus is very neat and clean. The college also provides a free Wi-Fi facility to students for surfing. Students are provided with smart classes as well. The library in the college is huge. There are departmental libraries as well. Laboratories are quite spacious, and all the instruments are available for practicals. Many sports are held on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. They have a great personality. They are highly educated. Their teaching skills are quite good. They treat us like their own children. They teach the topics using PPTs as well.
Other: Many events are held in the college.

My college, Vivekananda College.
Placements: Our department is very good. Current students and ex-students all are very studious. Some of them get chance in BU and Vellore. They didn't opt for a job because all of them want to go to higher study. The stipend is given by the college for some selective reasons. It is up to all the students, what they want to do next. Some of them tried for railway or bank examination. Some of them went for higher study. So, don't know about the all students placement. But some of our seniors work in scientific centres.
Infrastructure: It is the number one science college in southern Kolkata. Wi-Fi is available. Labs are well decorated with all the instruments which needed. The library is also available with all different books. We also have our own playground. There is also gym facility. Canteens have some good quality food. There are no hostel rooms.
Faculty: In our department, all the teachers are qualified and well educated. All the departments have the same. We have a projecting facility to study. I am studying zoology. I think it is all about your interest. If you love the subject, it must be useful for you. Teachers are too good at teaching so that we never get bored.
Other: Every year, the college arranged fest and sports. Many events also occur inside our college. Our college is situated in a good place. So the connectivity to the college is too good.

You can appear for separate exams of 12th (science) but you cannot do marine biology after studying commerce.
