It is the best college.
Placements: Many students are placed in our course. Many students do internships on their own after college in their attendance companies. The roles we play and they offered in our course are to interact with other students and conduct our activities.
Infrastructure: The facilities available for our course are our lab, classroom, and the library for study, which helped very much. We don't have a hostel in our college, but we have a canteen in our college that is very good, and the food is also very good. In our college, there were more activities like sports, functions, as well and also medical facilities, which helped very much.
Faculty: Teachers are very kind and understanding, and they also teach us very well. The papers of the semester exam are not too tough, but it is kind a lengthy, and this time my semester percentage was like 59% or 60%. Not confirmed, but my mark out of 10 is 6.36.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study psychology for myself as well as for everyone's future. The best thing about this course is that it makes you calm and understand everything calmly. A scholarship facility is available in our college. Events and festivals are not too good from my experience.

A pleasing and aesthetic environment, below-average placement chances, and quality staff.
Placements: There are very low placement chances. Out of the entire batch, I've only seen 2-3 students get the desired internship, and the rest have to find it on their own and ask for a letter of recommendation from the professors, which is only given when the attendance is fine. The recent recruitment was done by O.P. Jindal University, but a very low percentage of students got the role. The college is still working on this, as I've seen timely workshops being placed for career opportunities and guidance.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are highly furnished, and the labs are air-conditioned. Washrooms are clean and maintained. Soaps and sanitary pads are available for students. The walls are creatively painted with motivational and department-related quotes. Mics are used to conduct lectures in order to ensure clear communication. Food provided in the canteen is also served with hygiene, and tastes good too.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They provide us with the best study materials, including personalized notes that are really helpful to study from. The course curriculum is relevant, and in addition to theory, we're also emphasized to focus on field learning, which makes it a win situation. The semester exams are of a moderate level, and through reading and studying are always required. One should also know the information about the answers.
Other: I always wanted to discover the field of Psychology as I'm intrigued to learn more about the intricacies of the human mind. It was my first preferred course when I made the preference list. The course provides experiential learning, which is something I really like about it. The theory part, wherein we are provided the assignments, could be improved as the assigned work is not checked thoroughly by the professors, which makes it of no use. The events organized by the societies are average. There are no such events witnessed by me that I can speak highly of.

Dissatisfied because of a very small campus
Placements: As far as I've seen, the placements in my college are only from the placement cell of the college, and that's all, which is also not that good, so I would say the placement in this college is not something you should expect much from, especially for psychology. It is still okay for commerce students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is okay. The college campus is pretty small, so don't expect much from it, but it is still okay with the red walls and everything. However, it is still very small, and it is an off-campus college, so of course, there is no hostel. Students go for PG or flats.
Faculty: The faculty of my particular course is pretty nice as they are very qualified and knowledgeable, that's for sure. The psychology department of Vivekananda is pretty good, I would say. The curriculum and coursework are relevant and very practical. The exams are not that difficult; if you've studied enough, you'll pass easily.

Our college does not provide good placements.
Placements: Our college does not provide good placements in our course.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms were recently renovated after an incident where the ceiling fell off in the middle of the class. The quality of food in the canteen is good.
Faculty: It is a good course. Our teachers are good. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and is taught well, but teachers' assignment of practicals is hectic because we are always assigned to do 5-6 of them in a short period.

Vivekananda College an Honest review 2021'.
Placements: For psychology about placements I have no information but as far as internships, the internal quality assessment department works very well they organize webinars timely on various topics be it entrepreneurship, menstrual health of females, basic computer skills, and A level Certificate course in foreign languages.
Infrastructure: The entrance of our college has its name written letter by letter making it look sophisticated and welcomes with a small statue of Shri Vivekananda it has 2 auditorium one big in size for fests and seminars that can accommodate 1000-2000 students and another one small in size for department activities and department seminars. Our college has excellent Wi-Fi networks, a big computer lab on each floor (2 story building), a big library full of shelves filled with course books, comics, magazines, newspapers and many books that are used for examination purposes like reasoning books, books on General studies, GK. For the psychology department, there exists a separate library that makes it easy to find books for studying, they also have files and question booklet for vivas that help during the exam time. Almost every department has smart class services and projectors that students can use when they have to give their presentations. The psychology department also provides its students with laptop that they can use when needed. The classrooms are big and sometimes teachers use the mic for proper audios and every floor has its own bathroom, these are cleaned every day but still needs to be more hygienic. The college also has watercooler services, the water is safe to drink and is kept with almost hygiene. The college does not have a hostel facility. Talking about the canteen it is a big area that can accommodate more than 50 people and is connected to the college garden so one can enjoy their outside and during winter you can find students on every corner of the garden enjoying playing and sometimes dancing too. As mentioned above our college has a big garden full of trees like Jamun, mangoes, etc. It also has a flower garden full of seasonal colourful flowers! the staircase areas are beautifully painted by the students and are of great use for clicking aesthetic pictures for Instagram and other social media profiles. The canteen does not offer a lot of varieties like non-veg like other DU colleges, but whatever they serve tastes really good! we have a separate ground for sports, it has running tracks and main attractions for students is Hokey before COVID they were about to add football for the students but I don't know when will this come into effect. Our college has a sports room along with gym facilities, the equipment works well and were in good conditions.
Faculty: The teachers are very supportive and concerned for their students, even during the online classes they ask about students their families if anyone facing any difficulty they are always there to guide and reflect their knowledge onto their students. One can talk to them about anything that concerns them, they are punctual and demands the same from their students. They always help you push your fears away and work on your weaknesses! in the first year, college also organizes an Orientation programme for students to know how their college works and gives them the opportunity to meet their Principal and teachers also our college conducts PTM where in the parents can SEE the college from inside and can meet the professors, this helps them to build trust in their institutions and parents feel warm and respected. The circular is relevant but they should add on things like neuropsychology or AI as these are quite prominent in today's time and requires students' attention on them as well. Also at the end of the semester teachers circulate google forms asking the needs of the students and how much do they enjoy learning things taught and do they want new things to be added and that how students can communicate their ideas towards better learning. The semester exams are not difficult if you practice well, solve previous year questions and pay attention to the internal test given, and of course, paying attention during the class. Since everything is online now many students based on their assignment and internal marks scoring 9 or more than 9 CGPA but before that in offline exams, students were able to score 8 and more CGPA.
Other: I chose Applied psychology Hons because I always wanted to understand people around me and how some people suffering from mental illness perceive their worlds differently than more of us. I wanted to be a part of a world that does not discriminate against people based on their illnesses and disabilities and to make that happen I will have to put in a lot of effort and studying psychology is the first step towards it. Addition of more information on neuro-psychology and AI. The college is an off-campus, the surrounding is free from distractions and noise. It has does not have many food joints like Satya Niketan but still, we can find good food and cafes, not far from our college we have joint areas full of cafes one can enjoy I can name one which I visited last was Cafe Wink it is so beautiful and the food is amazing but is slightly expensive as compared to others. Many shops open up in the evening in Kadkarduma community center it also has a variety of cafes and restaurants. Talking about Fests our college organizes its fest around March with the official name 'Palllavi' unfortunately I didn't attend my college fest due to COVID-'19 but it used to be a grand event full of life, food and music, and Fashion shows students from various colleges used to come as told by my seniors also fests are a great opportunity for young businesswomen (as our college is women's college) as one have their stalls on Diwali or any fests organized by the college and can show off their talents. Societies organize various competitions for the students and winners get prize money along with certificates, due to COVID-19 these competitions were held in the online modes, even teachers share links for competitions held in different colleges for their students to participate.
