The XIC OET 2026 Application Form will be released by Xavier Instittue of Communications (XIC) on its official website. The XET 2026 registration process will tentatively begin from the first week of March 2026 at xaviercomm.org. The process is expected to be continued for a month. Candidates who wish to gain admission at XIC for the offered courses can apply for the same by filling out the XIC Entrance Test 2026 (XET) online form. Candidates who will fulfill the XET 2026 eligibility criteria will be allowed to apply for the entrance test. 

The Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) will open the registration process in online mode only. Candidates are required to provide the details and submit the XET online form 2026 by paying the XIC entrance test application fee of INR 2,500 (inclusive of GST) via Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI/ Net Banking. Successfull aspirants will be issued XET admit card 2026, which will be sent to their registered email address.

Q:   When will the application process for the XIC Entrance Test (XET) start?
A: 

The registration dates for XET 2025 are March 1 to 31, 2025. Aspirants can apply online on the institute's website. The XET 2025 application form will cost them INR 2500 (inclusive of GST). Application fee payment can be made thrugh credit cards, debit cards, net banking or UPI. It is advised that the aspirants first check the eligibility requirements before applying. Undergraduate degree holders who are 35 years of age or younger are eligible. 

Q:   How will I get to know about my XIC Entrance Test (XET) exam date?
A: 

Candidates will have to select their preferred XET date (out of the dates announced on the website) at the time of registration. The test link, password and login details will be sent to candidates just before their allocated time slot. More exam day instructions will be communicated to the applicants via this email by the exam body.

To apply for XIC OET, you must fulfil the following requirements - 

  • You must be 35 years or younger.

XIC Entrance Test (XET) Eligibility Criteria 2026

To be eligible to appear for XET 2026, a candidate must fulfill the following:

1. The candidate must be of 35 years of age or below.

2. Candidate must have completed 3 years of Graduation (12+3 years) in a university-approved stream in India: (Arts, CommerceScienceComputersBMM, BMS, BE, Catering, etc.)

OR

Candidate must be appearing for the last semester or Third-year Graduation in the present academic year. In this case, if a candidate is selected for the XIC Course in their desired specialization, and complete it in keeping with the Academic, Attendance, and other standards laid down by XIC, the Post Graduate Diploma will be awarded when they complete their graduation and submit the relevant final marksheet (attested).

XIC OET holds a total of 200 marks out of which 100 marks are for the objective type questions and 100 are for the subjective questions.

How to Register for XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2026?

Candidates will have to follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for the XIC Entrance Test (XET) online:

Step 1: Register

In order to avail of the application form, the candidate will have to register themselves on the official website of XIC by clicking on the Register link present under the Admissions 2026 tab. After registering successfully, candidates can log in to their accounts and proceed towards the next step of the XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2025 application process. The candidate will have to enter the following:

  • Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Age
  • Email ID

Once the candidates enter the details, they will receive a login ID and password on the registered email ID. From there on, the candidate can log in by entering the username and password provided on the email.

Step 2: Fill Application Form

After logging in by entering the credentials provided by the varsity in the email sent, the candidate can fill out the application form. Candidates will have to enter the following details in the application form:

  • Statement of Purpose

Step 3: Upload Photograph

Step 4: Pay Application Fee

After filling up all the details in the XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2026 application form, candidates will have to pay the application fee. The payment can only be done online via Bank Debit/ Credit Cards/ Net banking/ UPI. The application fee for the XIC Entrance Test (XET) is INR 2500 (inclusive of prevailing GST). Once the fee is successfully paid, candidates can click on the Submit button to complete their application process.

Note: If a candidate experiences difficulty in registering successfully, they will be given instructions ONLINE, to enable them to fill up a FRESH Registration Form. They will also be issued a NEW Application Number.

Q:   How many sections are there in the XIC Entrance Test (XET)?
A: 

The XIC Entrance Test consists of one Objective and one Subjective section. Candidates will be given separate time to complete both the sections (30 minutes each). Questions in the objective section will be based on Language Skills, General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media, Logical and Analytical skills. In the subjective section, a total of 4 questions will be asked. The question will be designed to test the aspirants' creativity, social values, writing skills, subject-specific knowledge, etc.

Q:   Is an interview conducted after clearing XIC Entrance Test (XET)?
A: 

Yes. Based on a candidate's score in the online test, they will be called for the interviews. The interview will be conducted via a Zoom call. Details about the call will be sent to them on their registered email IDs. Questions in the interview will be based on general knowledge, personal academic histories, Statement of Purpose (SOP) submitted with the application form, etc. 

Q:   When will the XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2025 exam be conducted?
A: 

XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2025 will be conducted on April 5, 6 and 13, 2025. Candidates can appear for the XET from wherever they are located (from home or an internet cafe). The date and time of XET will be mentioned in the XET admit card. These admit cards will be sent to applicants individually on their registered email IDs.
