Thinking of joining Ramanujan College. There is what you should know.
Placements: There is what you should know. The placement cell is active especially for commerce and vocational courses. Big companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Google, SBI and Policy Bazaar have visited. The average package is usually around 4 to 5 LPA and the highest has touched 12 to 17 LPA depending on the course. Humanities students dont get as much placement support compared to commerce/CS but internships and workshops are arranged regularly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is better than that of many other DU colleges. The campus is modern, with smart classrooms, computer labs, media labs, and a well stocked library. Its clean and green, giving a decent vibe. Canteen food is affordable and okay for everyday meals. The big con here is the lack of hostels. So students have to stay in PGs or rent flats nearby.
Faculty: Faculty is one of the strong points. Most teachers are well qualified and approachable. Commerce and Computer Science departments get a lot of praise for supportive professors and interactive teaching. But not everything is perfect. For example, the Psychology department often gets complaints about poor management and a lack of proper lab facilities. Overall, though, academics are solid, and the faculty genuinely tries to help.
Other: Campus life is lively. There are tons of societies Dramatics, debating, music, fashion, entrepreneurship, etc. The college organizes seminars, workshops, cultural events, and fests frequently, so you wont feel bored. The annual fest is quite fun and attracts a good crowd. The crowd is diverse, with people from different states. Students are generally friendly, and the overall vibe is supportive rather than toxic. Ramanujan offers a good mix of academics, infrastructure, and campus life. Its especially strong for commerce and CS students, but overall, its a solid choice in South Campus.

Overall, I love the college.
Placements: Our college placement cell is very active. Companies actively visit our college for internships. Diverse roles are offered like operation intern, marketing intern, content writer, etc. The average stipend offered ranges from Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month. After 3rd year, students can also apply for placements. The average salary is 3 LPA and can go up to 8-10 LPA depending on student's capabilities.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure but it is not very big. Our classes happen in port cabins during 1st and 2nd years and from 3rd year, it happens in the main building. We have nice computer labs and a good library with a 120 seating capacity and fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and some are not. Overall, the course curriculum is good and students who take it seriously can become industry-ready. As this is an honors course, exams are quite tough as compared to the B.Com course, but the pass percentage is around 85%.

Average infrastructure with good faculty members and a decent crowd.
Placements: 60% of students got placed with average package of 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, EY, and Proffus. Roles offered differ from company to company but most of them offer sales and marketing, business development, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: This college has all the necessary amenities that student requires like labs, classrooms, AC, library, and Wi-Fi but it is only given to placement cell members. This college has no hostel for students so they have to find PG or rent a flat. It has two canteens.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very supportive, knowledgeable, helpful, and qualified. Their teacher quality is also good but only few have those qualities. To be honest, I believe no course can make you industry ready only your skills can but B.Com (Hons) is great course.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to make a career in finance. The best thing about this course is that the crowd of B.Com (Hons) is great and fun. The annual event of this which is called Josh is also good. This college provides wide range of extracurricular activities for students.

The college has good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Ramanujan College is affiliated with the University of Delhi. On average about 50-60% of the students get placed every year. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. The minimum package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, Zomato, and Bajaj. About 60% of students got an internship in companies like Deloitte, Ferns and Petals, Accenture, etc. Top roles offered are finance associate, audit associate, marketing associate, sales executive, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Ramanujan College is new and modern. There is no hostel. The college has 5 computer labs. Most of the classes have ACs. There is a big library. There is 1 canteen and 2 cafes in Ramanujan College. Medical facilities are available in our college. Sports department of Ramanujan College is also very active.
Faculty: Teachers in this course are pretty young and updated. The course curriculum is also relevant. Proper study material is provided in the form of PPTs. Exams are difficult to score. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Fests usually happen in this college. Connectivity is pretty good. Seniors are very helpful. However, there is a minimum attendance criteria of 67%.

Review of Ramanujan College.
Placements: The placement cell is quite active and provides many internship opportunities with placements. The average package in a B.Com (Hons) course is around 4-5 LPA, and the top package can go up to 10 LPA, depending on performance.
Infrastructure: The college is still being developed. Most classes are held in portable classrooms as the main building is still under construction, so the infrastructure is not as great. However, the college is developing, and it will probably be good once the building is completed.
Faculty: Faculty is good. Every professor is qualified for the position. Most teachers are graduates of DU. The teaching quality is good, but since it is a DU college, some teachers do not bother to take classes and leave everything for students to learn on their own.
Other: The campus is small and still under development, as the college is not very old and it was established recently. Therefore, the main building is still being constructed, and as a result, classes are not very comfortable.

Good experience in Ramanujan College.
Placements: The placement for the course is below average. Only a few companies come to campus for placement. However, the placement cell does provide internships and placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is satisfactory, as the buildings are new and the classrooms are good. However, the network in the college is very poor and only available in a few areas. Although there is Wi-Fi in the college, it is only for the faculty. Also, there is no hostel in the college.
Faculty: The faculty members are very experienced and are qualified from reputed universities. They are also very friendly and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant and helps me understand the accounting of companies, etc. The semester exams are not easy, but the tests and internal exams are moderate.

Ramanujan College Delhi university is worth it or not!
Placements: My course is B.Com (Hons) and the average annual package is around 4-5 Lacs p.a. In the past year 2023 a total of 54 students were placed in top companies like Amazon ONGC and Google. Our placement rate is medium like 30 students got placed in a 100-student batch. My college also provides various internship opportunities as you study.
Infrastructure: There is a main building and port cabins, and new buildings are also being made. There are two grounds to play games and to sit in free time with friends. College also has a wide Wi-Fi connectivity. The classrooms have projectors installed in them, and the sports room provided various sports items. The library is very big, as is common to other colleges.
Faculty: The faculty is very good, especially for the B.Com (Hons) course, as they also studied from top colleges and are knowledgeable. They not only teach the curriculum or syllabus but also give various information about every topic. If you are unable to understand, they will teach you again and again.
Other: My batch is B.Com (Hons), and there are a great number of students. Placement is very good, and the teaching staff is also good. The course is the best in the commerce section because it has great value ahead.

The college helps me in my overall development in extracurricular activities.
Placements: The placements in my college are quite above average. Approximately 60% of the batch was placed in the last year, with the highest CTC offered at 18 LPA and the average at 6 LPA. Companies from every sector visit the campus, whether it be consulting, finance, marketing, or IT.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college are modern, as it was renovated recently. All labs are up to date, and the library has a good amount of academic books. Although our college does not provide hostel facilities, it informs us about the nearby PG accommodations through social media platforms.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-educated, knowledgeable, and provide productive guidance to their students. As the government has recently changed the curriculum to the new education policy, all the coursework is competitive for today's corporate world. Semester exams are quite easy for students who submit assignments on time.
Other: I am pursuing B.Com Honours here, and the best thing about the college is that, alongside theoretical knowledge, it also provides practical knowledge of the curriculum through proper lab classes and internships for corporate exposure. There are lots of societies in our college where students can overcome their fear of the stage and build confidence.

ARSD is a better college of DU as compared to SBSC. You can check each cutoff lists to see if you'll get a better college or, Venketshwara is also a very good college
