    Poor placements and bad infrastructure.
Placements: In my course, students really don't get placed, as it's an outdated course. Maximum students go for masters. I think the lowest salary is 1.5 LPA, and the highest is 3.6 LPA. No companies come for recruitment. 10-15% of students got internships. If you teaching, you can do higher studies.
Infrastructure: Water supply is too bad. If there is rain for 1 hour, you can even get to the college, nor you can go out. There is no hostel at this college. Canteen food is too bad that teachers told us not to eat from there. There is no Wi-Fi supply. The infrastructure is worst.
Faculty: Teachers are average, qualified, and knowledgeable. But we don't understand anything they taught us. Course curriculum is from 1990s, it can even help you land a job in 2025. Semester exams are not that hard, nor that easy, just get 17-18 marks.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: There was no placement offered to students. There was a one-day placement drive at college but it was so bad that there were hundreds of students and the vacancy was only one. So at last the placement was not good. In my course, there were around 80 students, and I don't know if any of my batchmates got recruited.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was fine in my time. But now I think the new building has started so it would be much better now. The new building was under construction in 2022 so it's a guess whether it has started now or not but I can say the new building was good.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good. I will highly recommend this college for students who genuinely want to focus on their studies. Teachers were very much dedicated towards teaching and explained every difficult topic in a easy way. Especially the Zoology faculty members were so good.

It is a good college. It is not that bad.
Placements: 30-40% of students get placed. The highest package is 4 LPA. Many students got internships. Chemist lab assistants and many other roles are offered in this course. Many internship opportunities are also there, and we can also do internships in many industries. Placements are minimal in this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice. Labs are fully equipped. Classrooms are average, and the environment is friendly. The canteen is also good. Every year, tender changes, so the food in the canteen is not constant. Our library is the best library in Delhi University. It is fully air-conditioned and has a lot of books.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative and helpful. All teachers are highly qualified. Sometimes we also go for an industry visit. Recently, I have visited the Dabur company. Exams are moderate. If we study, we will not face any problems. The pass percentage is 40%. We will pass easily if we follow the previous year's questions.
Other: Students can choose this if they love science and have an interest in Chemistry. We will learn many types of relations, and we will perform the experiments in labs. Fests are good. The campus is also nice and average. Many societies are available in college, and we can join them and develop our personality.

Overall, the college and faculty members are good.
Placements: Approximately 10,000 students are there in my college. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. 30% of students got internships from my course, but the education quality is good in my college.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Lab facilities are good. All equipment required is present here. There is no hostel facility in my college. The quality of food in the mess is good. Medical facilities are available. Students participate in sports and games very enthusiastically.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in nature. They are well qualified and are also educated at Delhi University. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not that tough according to the subject, and the pass percentage is 3.4 CGPA. Teachers are the best. The course is good.
Other: I chose this course because it is related to plants and the environment. I am attracted to this course because it is very interesting.

I really like my college .
Placements: In my course, there is an average package of placement that starts from 5 LPA to 10 LPA. In my course we can be a biotechnologist or chemical experts, we can be forensic Scientists or psychologists or you can search on the internet for what can you do after this course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the university is old but very nice. The classrooms are good, the library has its own Wi-Fi and lots of books to study. The food of the canteen is so good especially spring roll and chilly potato. Must try. There is a large ground where we can sit or play any game.
Faculty: Teachers in our college is very nice and very helpful. We can ask anything from them. Teachers are very supportive in working and giving lectures. They explain all the topic very thoroughly. They also help students to go through all the chapters again and review it.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do forensic Science in my Master's and I think it will build my knowledge in Chemistry.

A very genuine review after completing first semester from a satisfied student.
Placements: There are no placements. Honestly, there is also not much scope in this country for this course. The course is all about getting a seat in a popular DU college with low marks. Internship opportunities related to this course are also negligible, but the college internship cell is active. You can get some opportunities in different domains. Don't expect placements; prepare for something else. Worth taking admission or not - if you have low marks and want DU, go for it. If you want placements, choose something else.
Infrastructure: The college building is old. Classrooms are in bad condition. Labs are also in bad condition, but labs have all the equipment. The college ground is very small, like a small-size neighborhood park. There is a new building constructed since 2022 but it hasn't opened yet. Nobody knows the reason. Overall, college infra is 3/10. It is overcrowded with roof leakages. In exam seasons, your class sometimes gets canceled because there is no room available.
Faculty: Faculty are quite helpful and knowledgeable in their subjects. Sometimes they get more serious than they should be. They know students came here and don't want to pursue a future in Chemistry, but they sometimes pressurize more. But overall it is 7/10. The curriculum is good. DU has cut down the syllabus for each semester. There is not much load. Semester exams are quite, as DU follows the new education policy, you have to choose 4 more subjects like (SEC, VAC, GE, AEC). All exams are tougher compared to other universities.
Other: The reason for choosing this course is you get admission to a popular DU college with really low marks. This reason is true for 90% of students in this course. Improvements should be infrastructural. They must have a big ground. Pros should be more cooperative towards the students who are doing extra-curricular things like other online degrees, following some passion, business, or sports. The college has events at a decent level. You will definitely enjoy them, but even close to North Campus fests. The crowd is bad. If you have a love for Chemistry, then this will be one of the best decisions of your life. The chemistry department of this college is quite famous, but if you don't have an interest, choose something else.
