There is a placement cell that organises a job fair every year, and lots of companies came with their requirements and hired students as per their needs.

Many internship programs were held in our college, but there was not a single who specifically offered placements to students.

Poor placements and bad infrastructure.
Placements: In my course, students really don't get placed, as it's an outdated course. Maximum students go for masters. I think the lowest salary is 1.5 LPA, and the highest is 3.6 LPA. No companies come for recruitment. 10-15% of students got internships. If you teaching, you can do higher studies.
Infrastructure: Water supply is too bad. If there is rain for 1 hour, you can even get to the college, nor you can go out. There is no hostel at this college. Canteen food is too bad that teachers told us not to eat from there. There is no Wi-Fi supply. The infrastructure is worst.
Faculty: Teachers are average, qualified, and knowledgeable. But we don't understand anything they taught us. Course curriculum is from 1990s, it can even help you land a job in 2025. Semester exams are not that hard, nor that easy, just get 17-18 marks.

A college which is specifically designed for academically focused students.
Placements: The placement scene is pretty inactive in this college. Most students cannot find any good placements here, mostly B.Com (Hons) students get placement opportunities and Mathematics Honours students. So placements are course-dependent. Most students of DU visit the Central Placement Cell (CPC) of Delhi University for placements.
Infrastructure: As this is the oldest DU college, it reflects well in its infrastructure. If you think of studying, then the library is very crowded and filled with rowdy students. No facilities, poor infrastructure. The college has no proper canteen, and the computer labs are a total mess with broken seats, old PCs, and too much congestion. The new college building construction was completed in 2017, but it still hasn't opened. We hope it will open in 2025. Also, sports and physical activities don't happen much; the main ground remains closed. Although there is a massive modern technology-equipped seminar room and auditorium, there is a separate building for science courses, which has proper laboratories.
Faculty: Yes, this is the strongest part of our college that everyone raises. Our faculty members are great, with multiple years of experience and great expertise in their disciplines. The curriculum is based on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which has skill-building courses like programming, public speaking, financial literacy, and more. The semester exams are passable if a student studies properly, devoting some time every day.
Other: My course is B.Sc. Honours Mathematics. Nothing really influenced me to take this course; it was just my personal interest in mathematics. There are Value Addition Courses and Skill Enhancement Courses under NEP 2020 for Delhi University, although the classes for these courses get canceled frequently, or the syllabus gets rushed. The execution of these courses needs improvement. They also teach languages like Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, which are compulsory to take, but they don't add any value to the employability of students. The annual college festival is Zeenat, which takes place in February. The college is situated in central Delhi, so it is well-connected to all parts of Delhi NCR. Popular tourist attractions nearby are Connaught Place, Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, Rajghat, India Gate, etc. There are scholarships available for students who perform well in semester exams, like the Mirza Mehmood Beg Scholarship of Rs. 1400 for humanities, commerce, and B.Sc. students.

I am a bit dissatisfied with college because of the shutdown of campus during corona years.
Placements: My batch consisted of 80 students divided into 2 sections. Approximately 90%-95% passed out, and many went for higher studies. Some of them started government exam preparations like UPSC CSE, etc. As far as I know, there were no direct placements in college by companies.
Infrastructure: Although we had a good college, our newly built college was about to open in the joining year, but due to corona, it was delayed. It had all modern amenities with supporting infrastructure. There was no hostel facilitie in the college. I lived outside in private PGs, which proved costly. There were also less sports activities and a shortage of grounds.
Faculty: Teachers were hardworking with the syllabus and assignments. They worked with students. Curriculum is helpful for anyone striving to pursue further studies and professional progress in that field. Exams were not that difficult if students made regular efforts to study and attend classes.

Decent college (Zakir Hussain Delhi College) of University of Delhi.
Placements: Zakir Hussain Delhi College is one of the decent colleges of Delhi University. If we talk about placements, it's overall good. If you have earned skills, you can expect around 5-6 Lacs; otherwise, the average is 3-4 Lacs. As possible, acquire new skills that can help you in getting campus placement.
Infrastructure: It's getting a newly constructed building, which makes it so beautiful. By the way, they have good infrastructure. It has 4 buildings, and one auditorium has a 500-person capacity. They have a good canteen within an affordable price range and one common room for boys and girls especially.
Faculty: Teachers are well-expertised in their own domain, and they are very supportive. They teach within the syllabus. The course curriculum is not designed as much to get a job. Semester exams are not very tough because of the NEP policy. Around 50 percent of marks are in the teacher's hands, and they evaluate based on different factors.
Other: I am enrolled in the 2022-2025 session. Actually, we have to become data scientists, and this course can provide the root for the job. The crowd is around 80 students. They organize fests on time. A great thing is that all departments also help to organize fests and other activities.

Good place to be, ZHDC!
Placements: The placements are average here. Especially talking of B.Sc., the college does offer decent placement with an average package of about 4-5 LPA. There are ample internship opportunities as well. The placement cell is active too. Some of the top recruiting companies are ICICI and MET Life, with a placement rate of 70–80%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is definitely great at Zakir Hussain Delhi College. We have a huge playground, multiple buildings, a judo room, terrace and spacious classes. We also have an auditorium, a canteen and a mother dairy. The food is average at the canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are always open to doubts, initiatives and discussions. The course curriculum is relevant too. The difficulty level for my course is moderate. Yes, to some extent, you get prepared for the industry. The pass percentage is also about 90%.
