It is a good college. It is not that bad.
Placements: 30-40% of students get placed. The highest package is 4 LPA. Many students got internships. Chemist lab assistants and many other roles are offered in this course. Many internship opportunities are also there, and we can also do internships in many industries. Placements are minimal in this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice. Labs are fully equipped. Classrooms are average, and the environment is friendly. The canteen is also good. Every year, tender changes, so the food in the canteen is not constant. Our library is the best library in Delhi University. It is fully air-conditioned and has a lot of books.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative and helpful. All teachers are highly qualified. Sometimes we also go for an industry visit. Recently, I have visited the Dabur company. Exams are moderate. If we study, we will not face any problems. The pass percentage is 40%. We will pass easily if we follow the previous year's questions.
Other: Students can choose this if they love science and have an interest in Chemistry. We will learn many types of relations, and we will perform the experiments in labs. Fests are good. The campus is also nice and average. Many societies are available in college, and we can join them and develop our personality.

A very genuine review after completing first semester from a satisfied student.
Placements: There are no placements. Honestly, there is also not much scope in this country for this course. The course is all about getting a seat in a popular DU college with low marks. Internship opportunities related to this course are also negligible, but the college internship cell is active. You can get some opportunities in different domains. Don't expect placements; prepare for something else. Worth taking admission or not - if you have low marks and want DU, go for it. If you want placements, choose something else.
Infrastructure: The college building is old. Classrooms are in bad condition. Labs are also in bad condition, but labs have all the equipment. The college ground is very small, like a small-size neighborhood park. There is a new building constructed since 2022 but it hasn't opened yet. Nobody knows the reason. Overall, college infra is 3/10. It is overcrowded with roof leakages. In exam seasons, your class sometimes gets canceled because there is no room available.
Faculty: Faculty are quite helpful and knowledgeable in their subjects. Sometimes they get more serious than they should be. They know students came here and don't want to pursue a future in Chemistry, but they sometimes pressurize more. But overall it is 7/10. The curriculum is good. DU has cut down the syllabus for each semester. There is not much load. Semester exams are quite, as DU follows the new education policy, you have to choose 4 more subjects like (SEC, VAC, GE, AEC). All exams are tougher compared to other universities.
Other: The reason for choosing this course is you get admission to a popular DU college with really low marks. This reason is true for 90% of students in this course. Improvements should be infrastructural. They must have a big ground. Pros should be more cooperative towards the students who are doing extra-curricular things like other online degrees, following some passion, business, or sports. The college has events at a decent level. You will definitely enjoy them, but even close to North Campus fests. The crowd is bad. If you have a love for Chemistry, then this will be one of the best decisions of your life. The chemistry department of this college is quite famous, but if you don't have an interest, choose something else.

Unpacking ZHDC: A review on the high and low lessons learned.
Placements: Placements for B.Sc. hons chemistry students in ZHDC are not very good. Companies come, and they are more from the marketing side, so if anyone wants to do internships or jobs in marketing, they can easily get one. They organize job mela in which many companies visit.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the college are good. The library has all books. The canteen is good. There is NCC also. Sports and games are not as many. There is no hostel in Zakir Husain Delhi College. Classrooms are quite okay.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are of moderate level. The pass percentage is 85%. Teachers are very helpful. They help in academics as well as emotionally.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in chemistry from class 10 itself. This course provides practical knowledge as well.

Absolutely a good college.
Placements: The college only provides placements to B.Com. (Hons. ), but you can do your own internship with NGOs or other private companies to earn your own money. After your bachelor's degree, you can do a postgraduate degree and get a job, or do a Ph.D. in chemistry and become a professor in college.
Infrastructure: There are five labs in the Chemistry Department. Every lab is well maintained, and every piece of equipment needed for study is provided by the biggest library, which also provides Wi-Fi. There is no hostel for college. You hate to stay in PGs or rooms with your family. The college comes with a canteen.
Faculty: Every faculty member is highly qualified, and the curriculum designed by the best university in the syllabus makes students well known. In chemistry, students must study the course well. The exams done by the university are a little bit tough, but the students who study them find them easy.

It is really an amazing college.
Placements: Generally, students do not take placements. They preferred to go for their higher studies. But some students who need a job, they go for it. Many students go for internships and are paid for them. You must join this college as it provides a great opportunity.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fine. Classes are good. No Wi-Fi connection is available for students. Hostel is there but only available for those students who are living far away from Delhi. NCR and Delhi residential are not allowed to join hostel. Canteen is okay.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. All teachers are well educated and are the personality of great knowledge. Semester exams are not too much tough, one can easily crack then with good marks. 65 percent is required to pass the examination. Teaching quality is nice.

Zakir Hussain college is good.
Placements: There are many companies which came to Zakir Hussain college like byjus. The placement percentage of our college varies in the range of 70-80%. The highest salary offered this year was 4 LPA. Also, the highest package of 9 LPA was received by a B.Com student in the college.
Infrastructure: The largest building of DU are there which are very big and mess food is great. I personally eat canteen food there, more greenery which helps in summer days and provide valuable air. Most of the rooms contain AC which help. Library of college is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very relatable I don't know about other course faculty members but in Science courses they are very good. They also take extra class for completion of syllabus. I am proud that I am a member of the Zakir Hussain Delhi college.
Other: Every 1 months events are there in Chemistry department.

Very economical without compromising with quality.
Placements: As our batch finished this year only so most of the students went for pursuing higher studies. About 10% of students cracked IIT JAM and got admitted to various IITs for M.Sc. Almost half of the students got admission on merit and entrance in other places.
Infrastructure: Labs were well maintained along with all instruments and very friendly and cooperative lab staff. The library was large with plenty of books and a non-chaotic system while issued books. It had two canteens having hygienic packed as well as unpacked food. The counsellor is also available but sports infrastructure in not upto mark. It has one of the finest Auditoriums.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and supportive. They were regular in classes as well as gave assignments at regular intervals. Even we had innovative subjects like cosmetics, green Chemistry and industrial Chemistry which were industry oriented. Semester exams were regular on time and the level was moderate kind but the internal assessment was strictly based on merit.
