Satisfied with department. The college is going to open new building in fe months as it is ready.
Placements: There is an average chance for placement. This course has fewer chances for placement after graduation. No one got placed in my batch from college. Graduation in Zoology requires more higher education, like a master's degree. There is a placement cell in college, but for the Zoology course, there was very little chance.
Infrastructure: Good lab conditions and helpful lab assistants. Good ventilation. Each classroom has a projector, and a medical facility is also there with average condition; the canteen has better food quality, and students can have very good lab practice. Each classroom has a projector for good understanding for students and teachers.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and higher qualified and knowledgeable, probably the best teaching quality in Delhi University; the curriculum is relevant, and the difficulty level of exams is very high. If you attend classes regularly, you have no problem qualifying for the exams.
Other: The best teachers for zoology at university are very helpful, and they give good guidance to the students regarding their education. Their teaching quality is the best.

If you don't get into North Campus college, you can consider Zakir Hussain Delhi College.
Placements: From my course, there was no placement. There were some placements from the arts department. The companies which visited my college were not so big. The college has a yearly placement drive of 2-3 days. As I was from the Science department, we did not have placement options.
Infrastructure: Hostel not available. Wi-Fi is available but not for students. Labs are good and lab staff are also very helpful. As the new building is not open yet, our classes were running in old buildings. The condition of the old buildings is not very good; some classes are too hot in the summer. The Zoology museum is very good; all the specimens were present. Library facilities are very good. Canteen food is average, you cannot eat it daily. No sports or games options.
Faculty: Some teachers were the best Zoology faculty of DU who taught us, but some were new teachers. For Zoology, I won't say they make you industry-ready, but they teach many things which will help in your Master's. For your subject file, you have to make it the old way by hand, and all the diagrams should be well drawn, which is quite tough.
Other: The college location is quite isolated. There is nothing for fun near the college except C.P. and Dariyaganj market. They did not take us for any college trips. Fests are okay, nothing great about them.

Is life at Zakir Husain Delhi College worth joining this college?
Placements: Generally, in our course, i.e., Zoology Honours, students go for further studies like masters. I too opted for masters, but some used to work after graduation, so the placement percentage is high, but 10–20% used to get placed after the course. The highest package offered is 3-5 LPA and the lowest is 1-2 LPA, but this depends more on your course and the skills you have. The top companies are Byju's and food technology-related companies, but they are mostly Edtech companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very beautiful campus, and our department, which is the Zoology department, has two labs for practical purposes. Also, the college provides free Wi-Fi to the students. With this, our college has two very big libraries that can accommodate a large number of students. There were hostels in our college, so I won't be discussing mess food, but the canteen food was nice and affordable, and our college also had medical rooms for different medical facilities, but unfortunately, we don't have a playground or any sports facilities in the college itself.
Faculty: I will give 5 stars in this because I don't know about the teachers of different departments, but our department has one of the best teachers; they were so knowledgeable and highly qualified, and their teaching style was just amazing. They used to teach us to not just pass the exams but to have in-depth knowledge about the subject. My course was not relevant to industrial needs because it's not about finance, IT, technology, etc. But one can still crack this job with in-depth knowledge of the subject and various relevant skills that are required in the industry. Semester exams were not at all difficult and were very easy to pass. With the help of class notes and PYQs, I was able to pass my exams very easily.
Other: Overall, Zakir Husain Delhi College is a very nice college with beautiful infrastructure and an interactive environment. It also has a new building that is soon to open. Our college has different buildings for different departments. Our college used to conduct an annual festival, which is not so happening but yes, very enjoyable, and the different societies in our college also conduct various events and festivals for the students of Delhi University. So, I just want to take admission in this college if you want to have a balance in your studies and co-curricular activities.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college are good. Wi-Fi is available with a great internet connection of 10 Mbps. Labs like a zoological lab, botanical lab and tissue culture lab are also available here. Canteen is more hygienic, according to our college guidance. There are also other facilities like medical facilities, sports activities, large grounds and a basketball court.
Faculty: All teachers here are very helpful and cooperative. They give the best knowledge, and all the teachers are qualified with a PhD. For our subjects, all faculty members provided the best source of knowledge for a further study like masters. They provide guidance where we can apply for PhD with their own recommendations.

Placements: There are no such placements in our college. Students are supposed to find the companies on their own. However, this college will surely guide you in every possible way, but the course doesn't offer any placements as such. Hence finding placements in zoology is difficult.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. Labs are well-equipped with all the devices and instruments. There are two labs in the zoology department, which consist of all the necessary things required to perform experiments successfully, like radiology instruments, etc. The library is also well-stocked with books, which are related to the curriculum. It is also air-conditioned to provide a good comfortable space for readers. Classrooms are also spacious, and they have a blackboard, whiteboard and also a projector. Audio and visuals aids are also available here.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very coordinating. They provide in-depth insight on every topic which they teach us. They not only provide us with bookish knowledge but also conduct a fruitful discussion on various topics. They also provide us with real-life examples of how to use our knowledge in a good way.
Other: Regarding the existing curriculum, our college also makes sure to provide the students with fun-filled activities and events. Our college organises departmental freshers party, college freshers party, departmental fest, college fest, etc. It also conducts various kinds of extracurricular activities at an inter-college level such as Antadhwani.
