Hi, NIFT holds annual entrance exams common to all the NFIT centers. You can appear for the exam in the center that is most convenient for you. If you qualify for the counselling round you will get to choose a course and center based on the your merit rank from the entrance exam.

My MFM rank is 1203 and OBC rank is 269. Am I eligible for admission in NIFT?

Getting admission through general quota with this rank is a little hard. However, with your OBC rank you will easily get admission in MFM in any of the NIFT centers. If it doesn't work, you can try for an NRI seat. Call the college before hand and ask them about NRI seats.
