First week at NIT Warangal: A mixed bag of emotions

Yes! The first day or let’s say the first week at an engineering college is something that is sure to give many students sleepless nights. However, Chirag Patel a computer science engineering student of NIT Warangal begs to differ. He shared with Shiksha.com that his first week at college was a mixed bag of emotions ranging from feeling lonely to happy and finally crept in the freedom and excitement of having made it to one of the best engineering colleges in the country.

Chirag who has already shared his journey from counselling to taking admission at NIT Warangal further informed that his batch met their seniors only after 4-5 weeks of the commencement of their session. He recalls his seniors to be extremely friendly. Chirag also shared that no ragging happens at NIT Warangal and seniors merely tell the juniors of the basic rules and regulations they need to follow in college. He also shared that his seniors helped him make a study plan and explained what type of marking system is followed at the college.

Another aspect that left him awestruck right at the start was the hostels at NIT Warangal which looked like five star hotels to this young lad.
