I really worked very hard as my wish was to get admission in IIT Mumbai, but it is often said that if something happens against our wish then there is something better waiting for us. Firstly I was a bit dejected for not able to score high marks but was happy to get admitted to Poornima University.
I really worked very hard as my wish was to get admission in IIT Mumbai, but it is often said that if something happens against our wish then there is something better waiting for us. Firstly I was a bit dejected for not able to score high marks but was happy to get admitted to Poornima University.
The 13-year-old me was always passionate about computer world. I chose my career in the Science field with Mathematics as a major subject. The thing that made me choose this was my love for computers and addiction to Science subject which included Physics and Chemistry. My parents have always been my backbone as they always supported and guided me to take the right decision. I am a very curious person and I always look forward to facing challenges. The technology is developing each day so I chose the Science stream in school. My current college is Poornima University, Jaipur from where I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with specialization in Cloud Technology and Information Security. Looking towards Computer Science Engineering it is distributed into a wide range of subjects as it’s a broad field. I always had a curiosity about computer hardware and how it works and everything about it.
As I am in my Pre-final year I am inclined towards the networking domain and cloud domain. After my 12 th boards, I came to know about Cloud Technology and was very inquisitive to learn it. When I searched for it Poornima University name pop-up as it provides this specialization. Also when I visited the college I learnt about many more courses, the experienced faculties and digital education with all the latest technologies being adopted by the college. They provide a separate PC to each student during college hours and also the way of teaching is very interactive. The placement ratio is also up to the mark and their bond with the related domain companies is good. The ever-rising demand for Networking and Cloud Technology made me choose this college and course.

It was mandatory during 2017 that one has to appear for JEE Main to get admission to any university if one wants to pursue their career in the engineering field. Even I had to work very hard to crack the JEE Mains so that I can get admission in a reputed college. I had to crack JEE Mains exam so that I could get admission to Poornima University and I was successful in it. I have appeared for many other entrance exams for different colleges such as SRMJEEE, VITJEE, BITSAT, NMIMS - NPAT, SET, GUJCET, MHCET. For the preparation for all the entrance exams, I joined Bansal Coaching Institute during my 11th and 12th. I was trying for many other colleges as I appeared for MHCET to get admission to DJ Sanghavi, VJTI, Bhavans, Don Bosco Institute and many more. For NMIMS in Mumbai, I had to crack the NPAT Entrance which I did successfully. For Symbiosis in Pune, I appeared for SET. Also for NIRMA, PDPU, SVIT, GEC in Gujarat I appeared for GUJCET. For SRM university in Chennai I appeared for SRM and for VIT in Vellore I appeared for VIT-JEE. These are all the entrance exams for various colleges that I appeared.

Finally, I took the decision to go with Poornima University as it provided the course which I was looking for and also there was no additional requirement of any entrance exam except JEE Mains. It was like my dream came true as I got admission to Poornima University even though I scored low marks in JEE Main. For the JEE Mains, I really worked very hard as my wish was to get admission in IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology, but it is often said that if something happens against our wish then there is something better waiting for us. Firstly I was a bit dejected for not able to score high marks but was happy to get admission to Poornima University. I am getting good opportunities here.

College hours are the best part of my day. Whenever I go to college with a sad face my friends make sure that at the end of the day I come out smiling. During college hours I with my friend circle make sure to enjoy to the fullest, we do all the mischievous activities, even we eat during classes and also make fun of each other. The best part is that I love to sleep in college during lectures and most frequently I do it. I spend my time playing some online games or watching cartoons on youtube more than studying. Also, I love to roam in college when I get bored. When one lecture gets over immediately I rush to the canteen to please my ever empty stomach as I am a big foodie. Also, it's not that I do not pay attention to the lecturer, I do pay attention and  I want to study with full concentration. I attend all the classes but the most I like is the Network Administration, Linux Server Administration, Data Center, Red Hat Enterprise classes. When the concerned lecturer comes to take our lecture I pay my full attention to it. Also, our college arranges extracurricular activities and I have been a part of most of them. Our college arranges yearly annual fest in which I always participate and waits for it eagerly. Our Computer Science Department arranges Enchantment Day every year where there are competitions like Technical Exhibition, Storytelling, Junk of Joy and many more games.

Also, our college arranges activities like Music Competition, Dance competition, Manthan-The Great Britain Debate, the quizzes, Photography competition and many more. If given a chance then I would like to be a professional photographer and a guitarist. Poornima University has changed me from head to toe. My college experience till now has been a roller coaster ride with many ups and downs, but it taught me to be strong, face my problems and not to give up. My college made me an extrovert with strong will power and a positive mindset. I realized that I am capable of doing anything by getting out of my comfort zone. I have become a very confident and open-minded person. This college gave me the most precious people of my life who always keeps me motivated and supports me in every situation. Due to those people and my college, I have changed a lot. When I entered this college I was dumb, shy and an introvert. The hostel life is the most memorable and also the most important part of my college life made me a person who can now live alone and is not dependent on anyone for anything. It has made me realize that I am capable of achieving great heights and I have been always appreciated for my work. My parents and I can proudly say that I am ready to face the world and can deal with any kind of problem and will never give up on anything. The most important thing I learnt is the affection that I got from this college which made me sympathetic and kind towards others. So, my college experience until now has changed me a lot as a person.
