I am in first year of engineering but I am having so much fun with learning. Here I am planning and working on a startup which is my dream project. I did my schooling in Jaunpur, a small village in UP. When I was in class XII, ready to give my Board exams, I knew nothing about how to get admission in higher studies. I got to know about the full form of JEE at the time when I was appearing for the JEE Mains exam.
But I had the intrinsic quality of an engineering mind by birth to search for a new way of life. Finally, when I got 1 mark in JEE exam and 72% in CBSE Board exam, my father decided to send me for entrance exam preparation. I completely immersed myself in studies but this time the score was 124. But that was the time my father became my biggest support. I decided to go for JEE coaching to Kota. By this time, I came in contact with shiksha.com and they really helped me out as they kept me updated about exams and admission process with messages and emails. In my next attempt, somehow, I scored 128 in JEE and cracked MMM Gorakhpur securing 1500 rank, VIT with 46000 and UPTU with 3700 rank. I opted for mechanical engineering with fee waiver at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College (AKGEC), Ghaziabad.
I wish mystory inspires you to never give up if you are on the right path. I live engineering and my home environment never let me get confused about this decision but I always asked myself what I want to become and once I got the answer, I planned the way forward to achieve my goal. And now I am on my way. Always make your own decisions, after all it's your life...jivan me salah dene wale lakho milenge, ye mat karo wo mat karo, par wo ek faisla apko hi lena hai ki aap ko kya karna hai (In life, you’ll come across many people offering advice on what to do and what not to do but at the end, it’s for you to decide what is it that you want to do in your life.)
