Engineering Colleges accepting KCET for B.Tech in India

IMUCET application form the 2026 session was released on February 6, 2026. The last date of registration was April 28, 2026.

Each paper of KCET exam is conducted for 80 minutes. The Kannada language exam of KCET will be conducted for 60 minutes for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. KCET exam Biology and Mathematics exam will be conducted on same day while Physics & Chemistry exam will be conducted on separate day. 

The exam body has not released the exam dates for the KCET 2027. However based on 2026 dates, we can expect the exam to be held in Aprl 2027 tentatively. 

Karnataka Examination Authority released the KCET admit card online at the official website on April 10, 2026.

The NIT Surathkal fees for 4 years BTech is INR 6.26 Lacs - 11.42 lakh with the hostel fee. The total tuition fee for the programme is INR 5 lakh. The BTech Fee varients are divided in four components namely, tuition fee, Other fee Part A, Other fee Part B, and Hostel charges (if opted). The Part A fee is paid in the semester 1 only, while the Part B of the fee is majorly paid in the odd semesters.

Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent pass with first class and studied Mathematics as one of the subjects can apply for IIIT Bangalore BTech programme. Aspirants must hold the documents relevant to their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

No, students can not get direct admission at Indian Institute of Information and Technology Dharwad. The institute accepts admisison based on national entrance exams like JEE Main and GATE. After successful application submission, students who meet cutoff score will be considered for counselling round. 

Yes, Jain (Deemed-to-be-University) offers direct (lateral) admission to Engineering courses. The university's direct admission is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. Admission to Lateral Entry is done entirely merit-based. There is no entrance exam required for the selection of candidates. Admissions are done based on the merit of candidates in the previous qualifying exam. In BTech Lateral Entry course, admission is given on the valid percentage of candidates acquired in a Diploma course. Once candidates fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and qualify the selection process, they are called for a counselling process.

No, students cannot get direct admission to Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. Admissions for the majority of courses are entrance-based. The final selection is based on scores in KCET, PGCET, COMEDK UGET, etc. Management quota admissions are also entrance-based.

 

NIE Mysore has released its placement statistics for 2023. As per the official website, the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 56 LPA and INR 9 LPA, respectively. To take Admission in JSS University Candidates have to clear the PGCET/Gate entrance exam. The minimum eligibility to give the entrance test is that the candidate must be graduated from a relevant course with 50% marks from a recognised university or college with science and maths as a compulsory subject. 

The students can go for direct admission with fee structure details as the college provides undergraduate courses, research programs and postgraduate courses. Management and NRI quota admissions are also possible.
