Recruiters in India do not give value to online BTech courses anymore as they are not recognised by the AICTE and UGC and are considered invalid at present. The problem with online BTech degree is that it restricts your practical learning experience and limits your networking opportunities, both of which are very important in today's world to get a decent job in the market.

All of the top recruiters want a skilled pool of people who have a good knowledge of the technical know-how and have the right set of skills to be able to contribute to the growth of their business model. All of this is not possible in the online mode and hence, the recruiters do not accept students with an online BTech degree.

An online BTech degree is considered invalid in India after the strict guidelines of AICTE and UGC because they give a lot of value to practical training and classroom learning, which is not possible in the online mode of learning. SOT PDEU admission to BTech is based on entrance exam score.  Candidates can apply for BTech through JEE Main score. Admission to BTech is offered on All India and Government seats (ACPC Quota). Candidates can take admission in BTech Biotechnology through GUJCET score. Once selected, candidates are offered a seat in the university. 67% seats offered under All India Quota are filled based on JEE Main score and 33% offered under ACPC Quota are filled based on GUJCET score. Aspirants need to pay the programme fee after receiving the offer letter to confirm their seat in the university.

The BTech programmes application fee at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, is INR 1,500. Candidates need to pay this amount in order to apply for their desired course. For students appearing for the qualifying examination from the state of Gujarat, as well as students from Diu, Daman, and Dadra Nagar Haveli, the application fee is INR 350. Applicants from other regions also need to pay INR 1,200. The application fee may be remitted via a number of online payment options, including credit and debit cards, among others.
