Q:   Who is eligible for admission at AMU?
A: 

For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Talking about the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Q:   How are the placements at BHU?
A: 

BHU placements are good. The highest and average packages secured by MBA students in 2025 were INR 19.8 LPA and INR 10.1 LPA, respectively. Median salary stood at INR 9.2 LPA. The university has not yet released the placement data 2026 for other courses. During the placement drive 2025, a total of 177 placement drives were held, and more than 950 students were placed.

Q:   Has ANGRAU prescribed any upper age limit for M.Tech admissions?

Yes, for admission to ANGRAU PG courses, including MTech, the university has prescribed an upper limit. As per official sources, the upper age limit for applying to an MTech course is 40 years as of July 1 of the year of admission. Unfortunately, no. Students cannot join Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University directly without any entrance exam. Take a look at this:

- Candidates seeking admissions to all UG and PG programmes (except B.Tech. (Agril Engg.) and MBA) will have to appear in the Entrance Test (ET) for B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 4 years, B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science 4-year Programme and B.F.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.) Agribusiness Management, Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT) for B.Sc. (Hons.) 6-year Programme and Common Entrance Test for M.Sc. & PhD.

- For admission to MBA (Gen.)/MBA (Agri-Business Management)/Master in Rural Management, the seats will be filled up firstly through a CAT percentile score of 50 or above, after that the seats will be filled up through CMAT percentile score of 50 or above. The rest of the seats will be filled up with less than 50 percentile scores on the combined merit of CAT/CMAT. In case of a tie of scores, the CAT score will be given preference. Thereafter, on the remaining vacant seats, if any, on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. 

- For admissions to B.Tech. (Agril. Engg.) the instructions of the Haryana State Technical Education Society will be applicable.
