Yes, NIT Goa offers a two-year postgraduate degree programme, offered in full-time mode. The eligibility criteria for admission to this course is candidates must qualify for their BTech/ BE degree from a recognised university with at least an aggregate of 60%. Moreover, NIT M.Tech admission is based on GATE scores, followed by CCMT counselling.

GATE is a national-level examination that aims to evaluate the knowledge and aptitude of candidates in preparation for admission to engineering and management programmes. GATE Application Process 2025 began on August 28, 2024. Earlier, the deadline for registering for the GATE was October 3, 2024 (without late fees). However, The last date to fill the application form was extended with late fees till October 11, 2024. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, I could not find any information on the cutoff marks required in the JEE Main or Crescent College's entrance test, namely Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT 2024) for admission. However, as per the eligibility criteria mentioned on the official website of the college, students must have at least 50% scores in their Class 12 in the PCM subject combination to be eligible for this course. 

In CBIT branches aligned with the IT industry, like Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, and Data Science, tend to have strong placements due to high demand. These fields often see a larger number of recruiting companies and potentially higher average salaries offered.

However, core branches like Mechanical or Civil Engineering can also have good placements, particularly for niche specializations.

The top recruiters of Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute are mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, HCL, and Infosys etc. Last year Google also arrived on the campus and gave some offers to the students.  The median package was something around INR 5.6 lakh, while the highest and the lowest package were about INR 9 and 3 Lacs respectively, which are decent and worth consideration.
