Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) is conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of Kalinga University. This computer-based test is the entrance examination for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs offered by university. 

No, KALSEE entrance exam contains only objective questions in the exam. KALSEE question papers for UG and PG courses contain total 90 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that candidates need to attempt in 90 minutes. There is no negative marking for incorrect answer. 

Pearson VUE on behalf of Kalinga University conducts KALSEE exam in online mode every year. Admission to Kalinga University UG/PG/Doctorate programs are based on the KALSEE score. KALSEE is a Computer Based Test (CBT)

KALSEE application form has been released on the official website. Candidates who wants to appear for phase 1 exam apply now. KALSEE application form has to be submitted before the last date to appear for the exam. 

It is not necessary to send a hard copy of KALSEE 2026 application form to concerned authority. The candidates must submit  form only online. It is better to keep a printed copy of completed application form for reference of the candidates.

The eligibility for KALSEE BTech entrance exam is

Class 12 with a minimum 45% (40% for reserved categories) aggregate in

• Physics
• Mathematics
• Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject

There are no negative marks in KALSEE. Students need to understand exam pattern and the nature of the examination. By referring to exam pattern, candidates will know the basic specifications of the exam paper, including type of questions asked, the total time duration allowed, the marking scheme, etc.

Candidates can manage time in the examination by practising the question papers before appearing for KALSEE. It will help in assessing which section is consuming more time, and then work on that part to save time. They must make sure that they solve many questions from each topic to increase the speed of solving during KALSEE.

Multiple-choice questions will be asked in KALSEE exam to check students' proficiency in fundamental subjects, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry and English. There is no negative marking in KALSEE.

The documents are required for uploading while filling the KALSEE 2026 application form are photo, signature and mark sheets of Class 10 and Class 12 in the prescribed format. Documents will not be accepted if they are not in the format mentioned.

The slot booking process of KALSEE is done so that candidates who fill application form can choose preferred date and time for exam. A particular slot has limited availability and hence, slots are allotted on a first come first serve basis. In case a candidate does not book a slot manually, a slot will be automatically booked for them.

Candidates must visit college website. Click on slot booking option, and slots will be seen on screen. Candidates who have submit application fee payment can book slot. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. 

KALSEE application fee is INR 1200 for UG courses. Application fee can be paid online using a debit/credit card/Netbanking, etc. It is mandatory to pay application fee to submit application form. Application fee will change every year.

KALSEE is conducted in online mode. KALSEE can be attended by the candidate at the test centres. The exam will be conducted for 90 minutes.

Rescheduling of slot booked for KALSEE must be completed at least 48 hours before exam appointment. Candidates can reschedule exam appointments only one time. Changes in slot booking after the last date will not be allowed.

In KALSEE entrance test for BTech, there will be 25 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There will be 15 questions from English.

Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) exam dates are not yet out. However, as per the Kalinga University, the exam is likely to be conducted between July 2025 to August 2025. There is no separate “correction window” after slot booking for KALSEE. You may update your information while filling the form, up until you click “Submit and book slot.”

Admission authorities will not share results through email. The result will also be available only on the official website. The counselling process will start after the results are announced. 

Seat allocation during KALSEE counselling is done based on KALSEE scores. University prepares a merit list based on scores of candidates in KALSEE. Candidates with higher scores in test are given preference during seat allocation.
