KSET Cutoff Determination Criteria 2024
The KSET cut off marks are determined on the basis of the below-mentioned criteria.
Stage 1: Aspirants need to obtain minimum marks in Paper 1 and Paper 2 together in aggregate as listed in the table below. Only those candidates will be included in the KSET merit list who meet the below-mentioned marks requirement.

Stage 2: KSET merit list will be prepared subject-wise as well as category-wise by using the aggregate marks, that is, the total marks of both KSET papers, as obtained by the candidates.
Stage 3: As per the directive of the UGC, only six per cent of the total appearing candidates are declared KSET qualified for Assistant Professor. Considering this and the Karnataka reservation policy, the subject-wise and category-wise distribution of qualifying slots will be computed using the formula mentioned below:

The KSET exam is conducted for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Objective types questions are asked in both the papers. The duration of combine papers is three hours. Paper I is common for all candidates and consists of 50 questions whereas Paper II is subject-specific and consists of 100 questions.
