RBI Grade B Application Form 2025: Steps to Apply Online

The RBI Grade B application online link is made available on the official website-www.rbi.org. Interested candidates are required to complete every step of the application process as per the RBI Grade B Notification. The application fee, which is INR 850 for General/OBC and INR 100 for SC/ST/PwBD, can be paid online only. Candidates are also required to pay the GST charges along with the application fee.

Documents Required to fill RBI Grade B Application Form

To successfully fill up the RBI Grade B apply online form, candidates are required to upload certain documents such as scanned signatures, photographs, handwritten declarations, and thumb impressions. The documents need to be uploaded in the correct format. The list of documents that candidates need to upload is given below.

The step-by-step guide for filling out the application form for RBI Grade B is explained below:

RBI Grade B Registration

• To register for RBI Grade B, candidates need to select ‘Click Here for new registration’
• Enter certain details such as name, category, date of birth, email ID, contact number, and academic details among others
• After submitting the details, a provisional user ID and password will be generated
• The same is sent to the registered email ID of the candidates

Uploading Photograph and Signature

• Candidates need to upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature as per the specified size and dimensions
• The size of the photograph should be between 20kb to 50kb
• The resolution of the photograph should be 200 x 230 pixels
• The size of the file for signature should be between 10kb to 20kb
• The preferred resolution should be 140 x 60 pixels

Filling Educational and Other Details

Applicants will have to enter their educational qualifications, domicile, category, nationality, state, select exam centres, etc.

Preview RBI Grade B Application Form

• Before final submission of the application, candidates should preview and check all the details entered in the same are correct or not
• Candidates must rectify the details entered in the RBI Grade B application form during the process
• Candidates are advised to check the details carefully as no corrections will be allowed after final submission
• After validating the details, candidates should click the ‘Final Submit’ button and proceed towards paying the application fees

Upload Left Thumb Impression and Handwritten Declaration

• Click on the respective link to upload left-thumb impression/handwritten declaration
• Browse and select the location where the scanned left thumb impression/handwritten declaration file has been saved
• Select the file by clicking on it
• Click the open/upload button 
• For handwritten declaration, size of the file should be 50kb-100 kb 
• The size of file should be between 10kb- 20kb for signature and the left thumb impression should be between 20kb-50kb

Payment of RBI Grade B Application Fees

• Applicants can pay the fee through online mode only by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), credit cards, Internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/ mobile wallets
• On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated
• The application fee is exempted for RBI Grade B staff who wish to appear for the exam

Applicants need to upload RBI Grade B handwritten declaration while filling the application form. The text for RBI Grade B handwritten declaration is given below:

Important Points Related to RBI Grade B Handwritten Declaration

• In case the handwritten declaration is unclear, the candidate’s RBI application form will be rejected
• In case the handwritten declaration is unclear, candidates may edit the application and re-upload the same
• Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch) for scanning the handwritten declaration
• Set color to true color
• File size should be as specified
• Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the handwritten declaration, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above).
• The image file should be JPG or JPEG format
• Candidates using MS Windows/MSOffice can easily obtain the handwritten declaration in .jpeg format by using MS Paint or MSOffice Picture Manager
• The scanned handwritten declaration can be saved in .jpg format by using the ‘Save As’ option in the File menu
• Size can be adjusted by using the crop and then resize option

RBI Grade B Correction Window

Candidates can edit the details in the application form within the prescribed application deadline. Details such as the candidate’s name, category, date of birth, address, mobile number, email ID, exam centre, registration of preferences for Participating Organisations, etc. will be considered final and no modifications will be allowed after submission of the online application form.

RBI Grade B Age Limit: The age of candidates applying for the RBI Grade B exam is 21 to 30 years for unreserved categories. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit. RBI Grade B educational qualification is graduation with 60 per cent (50 per cent for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). There is also a limit on the number of attempts in RBI Grade B exam.
