RBI Grade B exam pattern is such that it comprises prelims, mains and interview. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The mains exam comprises three papers-Paper-I: Economic and Social Issues, Paper-II: English (Writing Skills) and Paper-III: Finance and Management. The total marks allotted to the test are 300. The interview carries 75 marks.

Q: How many questions are asked in Phase I and II exams of RBI Grade B?

In Phase-I exam, the paper carries a total of 200 questions. In Phase-II, the objective paper of Paper I and III will have a total of 30 questions and descriptive paper will have six questions. Paper-II will carry three questions. The total marks allotted to the Phase-I exam are 200 while the Phase-II exam carries a total of 300 marks. The objective test carries 50 marks whereas the descriptive paper carries 50 marks.

There are sectional timings in Phase 1 of RBI Grade B exam. The prelims exam is conducted for 120 minutes. Candidates need to attempt the different sections of the prelims exam as per the allotted time frame. Paper 1 and 3 of the Mains exam are held for 120 minutes. The Paper 2 of the Mains exam is conducted for 90 minutes. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 200. The total marks allotted to the Mains exam are 300.
