Yes, if the students focus and have a proper preparation plan then it is possible to crack BITSAT within 3 months. Students are advised to create a timetable that will allow them to complete the syllabus well before the examination. Students can also check the previous year papers and focus on the important topics and the concepts that have higher weightage. During the preparation process, the students are also advised to attempt mock tests and sample papers. This will allow them to understand the exam pattern and check their preparation progress and commonly made mistakes. Revision should be done regularly so that they do not forget that they have studied so far.

Q: How to apply for BITS Pilani Goa BSc course?

To apply for BITS Pilani Goa BSc course, candidates must fill out the application form for BITSAT entracne exam. Candidates can follow the below steps: Step 1: Firstly, the candidates will have to visit the official website at bitsadmission.com Step 2: Click on the registration link. Step 3: Candidates will have to register for BITSAT 2024 by providing their basic details such as their name, gender, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. A password also has to be generated for future login purposes. Step 4: After entering all the required details, click on the submit button to complete the registration. Step 5: On successful registration, a pop-up message with the registration number will appear on the screen. Step 6: The candidates will also receive messages regarding BITSAT 2024 registration on the registered email address and mobile phone number. The mail will comprise the candidate's Login ID and password. Step 7: The registration number, login ID, and password have to be kept safe as they will be required for future logins.

Q: Can I get direct admission at ME at BITS Pilani Goa?

BITS Pilani Goa does offer direct admission to the ME course without them having to appear in the BITSAT exam. The institute offers admission to the ME course in three modes. Board Topper's scheme offers direct admission if a candidate is a central/ state board topper, BITS Pilani offers direct admission to the specialisation of his choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. Generally, BITS Pilani admission to most of the courses is based on candidates' performance BITS HD entrance test. The fees for the BE program are approximately INR 19.9 lakh which is a good return on investment in comparison to the highest package offered. The syllabus would be the same and the questions would be easy to solve if you have proper concept knowledge and solving skills. So, you need to practice more and more problems and try to improve your speed and accuracy in calculations. Try to score above 300 which may ensure you a seat at any of the campuses of BITS.

Q: Is BITS, Goa better than NSIT?

According to the latest placement report, the median package offered during BITS Goa placements was INR 30 LPA whereas the median package offered to B.Tech and M.Tech students was INR 16 LPA and INR 14 LPA during Netaji Subhas University of Technology Placements 2022. Moreover, both the colleges are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). BITS Goa Highlights 2025

Located in South Goa, Birla Institute of Science & Technology Goa was established in 2004 and is a well-known private institute in South India. It is one among the other four campuses of BITS Pilani which is managed by Aditya Birla Group. The other campuses are located in Hyderabad, Pilani and Dubai. BITS Pilani Goa has been accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by the NAAC and recognised by the AICTE and UGC.

BITS Pilani Goa, offers various UG, PG and PhD courses. BITS Pilani Goa courses include BSc, BTech, MSc, MTech, and PhD among others, offered in the disciplines of Engineering and Science. BITS Pilani Goa admissions are based on merit in JEE Mains, BITSAT, and others for admission to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Review of BITS Pilani K K Birla, Goa Campus.

Placements: More than 80% of students got placed. A lot of companies recruit students, including Microsoft, Google, Rubric, Dell, Deloitte, Oracle, Adobe, Nestle, etc. Top roles include software developer, analyst, app developer, product management, etc. The median package is 17 LPA. Core branches like electrical have an average salary of 18 LPA - 20 LPA.

Infrastructure: The facility is very good. The academic block is beautiful, consisting of 4 lecture theatres and a lot of classrooms. Some labs are also present. A big canteen includes a kitchen and a Nescafe shop. There is also a big auditorium in the basement. There is a football and cricket ground with floodlights. Other sports facilities are also available. Hostels of the new block are very good with fully furnished rooms and 2 common washrooms on each floor. The campus is beautiful and green.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. They have doctorates and master's degrees in several fields. The exams are conducted every month (quizzes, mid-semester, and final exams). Labs are conducted weekly and have evaluative components also. Semester exams are very tough and the average is very low. The pass percentage varies but is usually 25% of the total marks of the subject.

Other: Fests are huge with the budget varying from 1 crore - 1.5 crore. Weaves is the largest fest with various artists coming from across the world.

One of the best engineering colleges in India.

Placements: The placements were amazing. The minimum package for my batch was 12 lakhs rupees, which was given to a student in the Chemical branch. The highest package this year was 40 lakhs rupees, which was given to a Computer Science student. Top companies were JP Morgan and Texas Instruments.

Infrastructure: The course and hostel are absolutely amazing, other than one big downside, which is the food. The food is horrendous, and you eat it just for the sake of staying alive. The paid canteens are good, but the mess is bad. All classrooms are air-conditioned, with Wi-Fi throughout the campus. The library has a wide range of books to cover every genre. Sports and games are widely encouraged, and there are multiple football grounds, as well as a gym and badminton/tennis courts.

Faculty: The faculty is excellent. All of them are professors who have decades of experience and are really warm and welcoming toward new students. The exams are pretty difficult because BITS works on a relative grading score, i.e., your marks are compared with others', and then you are given a ranking rather than having a fixed-point system where if you get a certain number of marks, you will be given a certain grade. The pass percentage is very high, around 80-90%.

BITS Pilani - It's Magic.

Placements: Placements are good. The average CTC was around 17 LPA (including all branches). Companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Intel, Nvidia, AMD, Samsung, Nutanix, etc., do recruit here. The practice school makes placements better and helps students become industry-ready.

Infrastructure: We have great infrastructure at BITS Goa. The Goa campus is really beautiful, full of greenery, and Goa itself is also a very beautiful state. The campus is very clean, with almost no littering on the roads. Spread over 180 acres, it’s smaller than Pilani and Hyderabad, but you still have to walk a lot. Generally, first-year students are given double-occupancy rooms. Each room is equipped with a separate bed, table, chair, fan, windows, almirah, and whiteboards. Each hostel has a common room, a place where you can relax in AC, watch TV, play table tennis, chess, carrom, or foosball. Recently, washing machines have also been installed in each hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members here at the Goa campus are extremely qualified. Classes are full of demonstrations. There is no compulsion to attend classes, but it is recommended to attend them, especially if you are a dualite. CGPA matters in almost every aspect, whether it’s getting a dual, practice school, scholarship, etc. When it comes to the curriculum, first-year courses may not be that relevant, but in the end, they will surely help you in one way or another.

Other: The college is great, and people are great. And yes, BITS Pilani—it's magic.

Best academics as well as fest culture with good placements.

Placements: This year the highest package for CSE was 62 LPA, with an average around 30 LPA. Also, companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs recruit every year. Mercedes recruits every year. But for core branches, the ROI (return on investment) is not that great.

Infrastructure: We have washing machines. Clean bathrooms with hot water facilities 24x7, with proper purified drinking water. The mess provides very good quality food. The draw back being you have to follow same mess time table (weekly) for a month or two but overall experience being awesome.

Faculty: Highly qualified teachers are there. Relatively tougher academics but the teachers do make efforts in the lectures to show all the demonstrations. Maybe the first-year courses offered are not so relevant but the further courses offered are relevant. Also having a good academic culture.

Other: Engineering in bits pilani should be one of the best experience anyone can have as a student; it offers you. A very strong academic background, confidence, overall exposure and lots of fun festivals as well.

An Overview: Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani, KK Birla Goa campus

Placements: In my course, about 92% of students were placed, even though there was a recession in the market. The average package for my course is around 25LPA. Top recruiting companies were Oracle, Google, Amazon,... Most of the students got internship opportunities from all ranges of companies, ranging from Google to TCS. It all depends on CGPA.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my department are top-class . The quality of food is mostly good, but then if you choose a mess, it is comparatively better than a d mess. So, as the college gives us the option to choose the one we want, we can choose the best mess.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful and they are well qualified and knowledgeable; their teaching quality was pretty good. The first-year curriculum is a bit boring and seems irrelevant because they make you study most of the subjects starting from CS to Biology. I would prefer it being more specific for each course starting from the first year. Semester exams are pretty difficult.

There was a moderately good placement season in 2023.

Placements: Currently, the placement scenarios are not revealed, but top companies like Microsoft, Sprinklr, JPMC, Nomura, etc., offer multiple roles such as SDE, consultant, and analyst. Banks like Deutsche Bank recruit financial analysts. While the lowest salary goes to 6 Lacs and the highest to 50 Lacs, you can expect an average of 15 Lacs. I secured an internship at MultiGraphics Group through my branch, an opportunity many students have also obtained.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi, classroom labs, and library are of high standards, probably among the best compared to other institutions in our country. The quality of food is decent and manageable. Facilities such as sports and medical services are also very good and comfortable.

Faculty: The professors are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is really good. The coursework is relevant to market standards, making the students industry-ready. However, the exams are very difficult, with a pass percentage of only 20 percent of the total course.

Other: All the events are absolutely good.

BITS Goa Application Process 2025

BITS Pilani - Goa Campus Admission 2025 registration and application process for the First Degree (FD) programmes (BE, MSc, BPharm) are conducted through BITSAT. Candidates must fill out the online BITSAT application form by following the process mentioned below:

1- Visit the official website of the University and click on 'Apply now'. If you have already registered then click on 'Already Registered Candidates' or else you need to click on the 'New Registration'.

2- After successful registration, the application form will open up. Fill out the application form by entering your details.

3- Now candidates will have to upload scanned images of photographs signatures and documents in the prescribed format.

4- Pay the application fees of INR 3,400 for one session or INR 5,400 for two sessions. Now, click on the submit button to complete the registration process.

5- Students must save their registration number, login ID, and password for all future logins.

BITS Goa Scholarships 2025

BITS Goa students are eligible for various central and state undergraduate scholarship schemes. The eligibility criteria along with the details of various departments and schemes are as follows:

Merit scholarship: The scholarship is awarded based on the student's CGPA in the current semester. Around 10 (per batch) people get 100% off and another 10 (per batch) get 40% off on tuition fees. This semester’s cut-off was 9.2
Merit cum Need scholarship: Again, this scholarship is awarded based on the student's CGPA, additionally, parents' annual income should be less than INR10 LPA.

Students seeking to come to the BITS Pilani Goa Campus can arrive at the Goa Dabolim International Airport and take a drive of around 15 minutes to reach the college campus. Also, students can choose to travel by train and come to the Vasco Da Gama Railway Station. From there, they can take a short drive of around 20 minutes to reach the campus of BITS Pilani Goa Campus.

BITS Goa Infrastructure

BITS Goa provides modern amenities with state-of-the-art infrastructure to its students. The provides facilities such as a student activity centre (SAC), shopping complex and bank, medical centre, guest accommodation, central library, computer centre, laboratories, hostels, etc.

Central Library: The campus library has several creatively built seating halls, a digital library with internet access terminals, and a large area for book storage. The library has been provided with a wireless network whereby users can access the internet using laptops. The library transactions and searches are managed using the (FLOSS) KOHA Library Management software to automate its entire housekeeping activities.
Computer Centre: The Computer Centre (CC) has a central computing lab having 300 workstations (DELL & Lenovo) connected through LAN. These computers support a large number of software tools and simultaneously provide for the storage, hardware and software needs of the campus.
Video Communication: An 18+16 seat CISCO telepresence conference room allows the impressive multipoint teleconferencing facility to students and teachers.
Laboratories: The institute provides labs equipped with all the sophisticated instruments and apparatus for students, faculty and research scholars.
Hostel and Mess Facilities: The institute is fully residential. There are separate hostels for boys and girls providing accommodation for each student on campus. Hostel common rooms are equipped with recreational facilities like Table Tennis and carom along with LED TV with Dish connection, newspaper and telephones.
Student Activity Centre (SAC): SAC is constructed in an area of 37,000 square feet. It is equipped with indoor sports facilities like badminton, table tennis, billiards, squash, carom, dance room and a well-equipped gymnasium with all the modern training machines.
Shopping Complex and Bank: There is a shopping complex inside the campus which provides the facilities of a supermarket, vegetable and fruit shop, cafeteria, gents saloon, beauty parlour, laundry, book store and stationery shop. HDFC Bank has provided an ATM facility on the campus.
Medical Centre: The medical centre provides for the primary medical needs of the residents. It provides 24*7 emergency care services for all its residents through a dedicated medical team.
Guest Accommodation: Excellent facilities are available for boarding and lodging on payment at the Visitor's Guest House (VGH) built in the southern corner of the campus. The VGH allows visitors to have a comfortable stay by providing all the requisite facilities.
