No, the university selects candidates for M.Tech course based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility requirements to apply for M.Tech course. Aspirants must pass bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology in the concerned discipline with at least 60% aggregate to apply for the M.Tech course. Candidates who have passed MSc Life Science can be considered for M.Tech Biotechnology/ Food Processing & Engineering. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Candidates need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. The total fee of BTech ranges between 9.3 L and 11.07 L. The fee excludes exam fee, professional development and placement training fees. The toal fee of BTech, includes a one-time admission fee of 10 K. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats.
