IIHM eCHAT 2017 Exam Dates & Application Process

International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) has announced IIHM eCHAT exam date for the academic session commencing in 2017. IIHM eCHAT 2017 is scheduled to be conducted on May 15. All interested candidates can fill the IIHM eCHAT 2017 application form subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

A candidate’s duly-filled IIHM eCHAT application form (along with the application fee) must reach any of the IIHM campuses maximum 10 days before the exam is conducted, informs the official website.

Steps to fill application form in the offline mode are as follows:

Step 1: Get IIHM eCHAT 2017 Application Form

Candidates can either collect the application form from the respective IIHM campus or download it from the official website of the college. Details to be filled in the application form include:

• Preferred IIHM campus: First, candidates need to select the IIHM campus where they wish to apply.

• Personal details: This section requires candidates to fill details such as name, gender, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, religion, and mobile numbers of parents.

• Contact details: Here, candidates need to fill their permanent and correspondence address details along with their mobile number and email ID.

• Guardian details: This section requires candidates to fill details such as name, address, occupation, phone number, and email ID of the guardian.

• Other details: Here, candidates need to fill their academic qualification details of Class X and XII.

• Photograph: Here, candidates need to affix a coloured passport size photograph.

• Full signature and date

Step 2: Make IIHM eCHAT 2017 Application Fee Payment

Candidates can pay IIHM eCHAT 2017 application fee by cash/ cheque/ demand draft (in favour of International Institute of Hotel Management, payable at Kolkata/ Delhi/Pune/ Bangalore/ Jaipur/ Ahmedabad/ Hyderabad).

Step 3: Submit IIHM eCHAT 2017 Application Form

Finally, candidates need to submit the duly-filled application form (along with the application fee) in person or by post at any of the IIHM campuses. Different IIHM campuses are as follows:

IIHM eCHAT 2017 Application Process in Online Mode

For IIHM eCHAT registrations in the online mode, candidates need to click the “Apply Online” link present on the Home page of International Institute of Hotel Management. On clicking the link, the web portal of IIHM eCHAT 2017 registrations will open on the screen.

Step 1: Register as a New User

Once the web portal opens, candidates first need to register as a new user. For this, candidates need to click the link, “Click here to Register Now” present on the web portal. On clicking the link, a new page will open. Enter details such as candidate’s email ID and password. Click the “Submit” button. The application form will appear on the screen.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

Details to be filled in the application form are as follows:

• Personal details: This includes mentioning details such as name, gender, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, religion, and mobile numbers of parents.

• Contact details: This includes mentioning permanent and correspondence address details of candidates.

• Exam details: Here, candidates need to choose their preferred IIHM eCHAT 2017 exam centre and GDPI centre.

After filling all the details, candidates need to click the “Submit” button.

Step 3: Upload Photo

Next, candidates need to upload their passport size photo. “You need to upload a passport type photograph for your admit card. Your face should be clearly visible in the photo. No group photo is allowed. We reserve the right to approve a photo,” informs the official website.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee

Finally, candidates need to pay the application fee in the online mode. In case of online fee payment, IIHM eCHAT prospectus will be sent to candidates via post.
