The syllabus of UPCATET exam is officially not prescribed by the exam conducting authorities. Hence applicants need to cover the syllabus for the desired UG, PG and PhD courses from the official syllabus of acdemic qualification only. 

Along with this to get a better idea about the syllabus, marking scheme and exam pattern students are advised to check UPCATET previous year question papers.

Applicants who forget the password of their admit card of UPCATET while downloading it.  Candidates can recover the password of their UPCATET exam by clicking on the 'Forgot Password' button at the bottom of the login window. The exam conducting authorities will send the password of UPCATET to the registered email of the candidates. 

In case of not recieving any email applicants need to immediately contact to exam conducting authorities. 

 No, it is mandatory for candidates to carry a hard copy of the UPCATET admit card on exam day as required by the invigilator for exam attendance formalities. Since applicants will not be allowed to appear by carrying mobile phone in the exam hall hence applicants must carry the admit card of UPCATET to the authorities. 

Students just need to carry their original id & photo id proof to the UPCATET exam centre. 

The exam conducting authorities release the admit card of UPCATET in online mode. It includes the below-mentioned details available on the admit card. 

Applicant's name, registration number, roll number, signature & photograph, UPCATET exam center address, exam day instructions, Do's & Don't in the UPCATET exam hall.

In case of any error in details mentioned on the admit card, applicants are advised to contact the exam conducting authorities immediately to remove the discrepancy in time. Students may be prohibited by the exam conducting authorities in case of any issue mentioned in the admit card from the identity of applicants

The UPCATET hall ticket is released by the authorities in online mode only. It will be avilable to check on the official website only. To download the admit card it is required to enter the login credentials as well as captcha.  

Also there is no procedure to email or contact the exam conducting authorities to access the admit card of UPCATET in offline mode only. The hard copy of the admit card is also not sent to candidates by post. Hence applicants won't be able to access or download it in offline mode. 

Students, before downloading the admit card must ensure to have an active internet connection.

Applicants who appear in UPCATET exam should note that the details like name, registration no, exam centre address, photo & signature will be mentioned in UPCATET admit card. Students are advised to carry photo id along with UPCATET admit card.

The documents which can work as valid photo id proof for the exam are mentioned below.

• Voter id card
• Driver's License 
• PAN Card

The Undergraduate syllabus is similar to Class 12 Science. It includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and General Studies. Students who want to study Agriculture also learn Agril. Botany, Agril. Chemistry, Horticulture, Agronomy, and Animal Husbandry. These subjects help students understand basic agriculture ideas. The syllabus is not difficult for students who have a Science background in school.

The PG syllabus is based on UG subjects. It includes Agriculture, Horticulture, Soil Science, Biotechnology, Extension Education, and similar fields. These types of topics need in-depth knowledge. Students must revise what they studied while preparing for the UPCATET Exam during their graduation. This syllabus helps students prepare for PG courses in agriculture.

The UPCATET Exam was held on June 11, 2025, for UG Courses. The exam date for Masters and PhD courses was scheduled on June 12, 2025. Students were instructed to reach the exam centre 30 minutes before the exam time. This will help them to dodge last-minute hassles.

For each right answer 3 marks will be awarded & for each in correct answer 1 mark will be deducted. 

Though marking scheme remains same but exam pattern is different than other. For all UG & PG courses the number of questions are 200 and total marks allotted to it are 600 while total number of questions for MBA course is 100 & total marks allotted to it are 300 only. 

Yes there will be different exam pattern of UG and PG courses in UPCATET exam. The UG courses i.e BSc & BTech and Post graduate courses i.e MBA, MSc have different pattern. The number of courses for UG is 200 while for PG it is 100. The total marks allotted for UG courses is 600, while for PG it is 300. 

Though each question from UG and PG weigh same 3 marks only. 

Time duration for both UG and PG is also different, UG is of 3 hours and PG is of 2 hours.
