It has great research options and facilities, but limited placement support and industry readiness.
Placements: At IISER Bhopal the placement rate for this course is not very high as many students chose to pursue PhD or higher studies. The average package is around 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Deloitte TCS and Quantiphi. Around 60 percent of students secure internships mostly in research data analysis and consulting roles.
Infrastructure: IISER Bhopal has good facilities for the course. Wi Fi speed is fast. Labs and classrooms are big and have good equipment. The library is nice with many books. Hostel rooms are clean and have everything needed. Mess food is okay and the canteen has snacks. The medical facility is good with a doctor available. There are courts for every sport with well equipped facilities.
Faculty: At IISER Bhopal teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They guide students well. The course curriculum is good but it focuses more on academics and research so not all students become fully industry ready. Semester exams are tough but with proper preparation most students pass exams. The pass percentage is high and it is around 80-90 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in both science and economics. However, I wish there were more industry-oriented courses and placement support. Fest was amazing last year that is Aarohan. The campus crowd is friendly and diverse. Connectivity with the main city is not good. Surroundings are peaceful but a bit isolated.

Placements: 1.If you are coming to IISer Bhopal for only placement,then you should opt for any other college.Most of the students in natural sciences go for higher studies.BS Students go for campus placements.
2.Average Package:18 lakhs Highest Package:37 lakhs
3.For BS-Economics, Deloitte,Dr. Reddy,NOMURA,are the top recruiting companies.
4.I am fresher.What I've heard from seniors,you've to approach professors for internship.Pinelab,Google, Microsoft are some of the companies seniors got internship.
Infrastructure: 1.There are 4 E-Classrooms.You'll find un-interrupted wi-fi throughout the campus in library, Academic Building even near sports ground.
2.We've RO Water filter on each floor.A Vending Machine just at the hostel entry.Rooms are well accomodated & spacious for 2 students.24 * 7 security guards patrol the whole campus.
3.There are also washing machines available in Ground floor each hostel.You've to make online payment to wash your clothes.
4.There is a common room on ground floor made for healthy discussions.
5.There are 2 volleyball courts,1 indoor badminton court,1 squash room,2 basketball court,1 kabbadi ground,1 football ground,1 cricket ground.
6.There are total 6 messes.Catering services are different for each & you'll be alloted a mess which you can't change.Later on,you've liberty to choose mess as per your wish.
Faculty: 1.The teaching style is just "Amazing".Be it Maths,Chem,Phy,EES or even HSS.Everyone is giant in their own fields.Most of them have done their PHds from USA or Europe(Germany especially)..
2.Yes,the course curriculum is revised every year as per the market.However,course is slightly inclined towards Research which compells you for critical-thinking & solving problems on your own.This is beneficial in the long run.
3.Within 1 month of arrival at your college,there'll be quizzes of every subject.& Course goes at rapid pace.So,you've to frequently clear your doubts with professors & TAs.The course requires a lot of hard work and consistency.
Other: 1.BS-Economics of IISER Bhopal rivals the course curriculum of reputed IITs where economics branch is established like IIT Kanpur ,Roorkee, Kharagpur, Bombay .
2.Enthuzia: Annual Cultural Fest
Singularity: Annual Science Festival
Luminaire: Film festival where short films, inspirational movies are screened
IICM: Inter Iiser cultural meet where 7 Iisers ,IISc ,NISER compete in arts, dance, debate, music, etc.
IISM :Inter IISer Sports Meet where all the national research institutes meet together.IISER B has been reigning champion in Cricket for last 4 yrs.
MUN : Model United Nations event involve student in debate, diplomacy, problem-solving.
Human Library: People share their life lessons to their audience.

Review of BS in economics from the IISER Bhopal.
Placements: IISER Bhopal offers good placements and internship opportunities to its students. Around 40–45% of the students get placed at this college. The average package offered at the college was between 3 and 7 LPAs. Various research and development companies visit our college for placements. Students also get internships at this college.
Infrastructure: The college has good-quality infrastructure and facilities for the students. Our college had really good infrastructure for our course. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, sports and other facilities were available at the college for the students. Canteen food was affordable and good to eat. Hostel facilities were also given to the students.
Faculty: The faculty of the college was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching was also good. The course curriculum of the college was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams at the college were not hard to pass. Various workshops and industry visits were organised at this college for the students.

Review of Indian institute of Science education and research.
Placements: The college placements are not that good case it is a research institute we all know. If you are coming to iiser then you must be on to research or Ph.D. So the placement cell is not that much working. By the way there are little chances of placement in economic and dse branches but that are also not that working.
Infrastructure: The course is a bit hectic case we have semesters of 4 months. There also happening fun activities in the campus that will always district you from your studies just kidding. But its not that difficult if you manage to do so. Hostels are top notch. New hostels like hostel 8 are very well maintained.
Faculty: Faculty here is the best thing. Any student with research mindset it is the heaven for them. There are many well qualified proffs in the campus. They all will be living in the same area as you will do. Exams will be there in Next weeks like quizzes and sem exams.
Other: Best fest happens here.

I am completely satisfied with this college.
Placements: Our college is research-based, so most of the students opt for a PhD. The engineering science and economic science branches are new, and the first batch will pass in 2022. So we do not have exact data on placements, but as of now, Deloitte provides placements at a salary package of 13 LPA to students. The highest salary package offered is 27 LPA Deloitte.
Infrastructure: Hostels are originally made for single occupancy, but they now accommodate 2 because of the increase in students intake. Everything else is quite good. Some new hostel buildings are also under construction, so the issue with hostel rooms will also be solved. There is a place known as ideation hut where you can go if you are bored with the mess of food. The mess food is not that bad. It is quite good compared to other colleges.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly skilled. They studied at some of the top colleges in the world, like Harvard and MIT. The course curriculum is quite good and highly research-oriented. Exams are generally tough, but if you attend the lectures properly, then everything will be good.
