National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Exam 2026 ( NIELIT Exam )

NIELIT Centres in India: The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) conducts NIELIT to provide admissions to eligible students into the offered formal and non-formal courses. NIELIT is conducted twice a year (O/A/B/C level) and once a month [DLC (CCC/BCC/CCCP/ECC/ACC)]. All students have to register for the examination online at student.nielit.gov.in. As per the NIELIT centres selected by the candidates, the allotment will be done by the authorities. NIELIT is held in five zones - North, North-East, East, South and West Zone. There is no specific number as such. However, at each level, a candidate needs to complete the papers within the stipulated period. At NIELIT O/A/B/C levels, candidates can appear in any paper, in any order, if the subject has been covered by the institution running the accredited course and as mentioned on the application form. Candidates can directly appear in examinations if they satisfy the eligibility criteria as applicable to them.

NIELIT Guwahati admission is depend on the duration of the course. Like for short term courses (also known as certificate courses) admission is done merit baisis and qualifying exam score and for long term courses such as NIELIT O level, A Level and CHM O level is done basis the NIELIT exam and eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Institute.The selection process of NIELIT recruitment is a Written Test and Personal interview. To pass the NIELIT O/A/B and C levels, a candidate must score 50% marks in each module. The NIELIT O/A/B/C level results will be declared on the official site.

Yes, the candidates will be able to seek the Common Service Centre services to fill out the NIELIT Online Examination Application Forms (OEAF). The required examination fee can also be paid through the CSC services. Candidates are advised to complete the NIELIT OEAF process before the final date to be registered for the entrance examination of their course.

NIELIT Exam Centres
The examination will be conducted at exam centres across India. The exam centres of NIELIT are divided into Primary and Secondary centres. The exams will be held at all Primary centres. The centres will depend on the number of candidates appearing for the exam. Candidates who choose one of the Secondary centres as a first choice in their application forms for examinations are required to give a Primary centre as a second choice.

NIELIT Result
The authorities will declare the NIELIT result on the official website for O/A/B/C levels. The NIELIT results are sent as grades to the candidates, as well as to institutes conducting accredited courses from where candidates have appeared for examinations.

The eligibility criteria of NIELIT exam varies as per the course. To be eligible for the NIELIT exam candidates must have minimum 10+2, ITI, Diploma, or a B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc./MCA.
