SET 2027 exam will be conducted in over 80 cities across India. In every city, there will be at least one SET exam centre. Candidates will have to appear for the test at those centres as per the time and slot allotted to them. The SET test centres will be allotted to candidates in the city of preference as mentioned by them in the SET application form 2027. Candidates could choose up to three preferred SET exam centres while filling the SET application form 2027. The SET exam 2027 will be conducted in computer-based Test mode (CBT) in May, 2027. How to Choose SET 2027 Test Centre?
Candidates were allotted the SET exam centre in the city of their preference. Check out the steps below for selecting the preferred test city in the SET exam 2027 application form.
- Register on the official website of SET.
- After successful registration, fill in the SET application form using their login credentials.
- Select three test cities while filling out the SET registration form 2027.
- Select test centres in order of their preference, i.e. from first to third.
- Fill up the entire form, pay the application fee and finally click 'Submit'.

Mentioned below are some important points regarding the SET test centre:
- SET test centres will be mentioned on the SET 2027 admit card
- Students can select the test centres during the SET registrations
- The test centres cannot be changed once the SET application form 2027 has been submitted
- The exam authorities have the right to change or cancel any exam centre or city
- Candidates should reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam. commencement of the exam.

SET Exam Centre: Dos and Don’ts
An identification process will be conducted at every SET exam centre, hence, students must make sure that they reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam starts. The exam will begin at 10:00 AM, hence the candidates must reach by 09:00 AM. Check out the checklist of dos and don'ts that the students must follow at the SET exam centre.
Dos
- Students must carry a coloured print of the SET admit card to the exam centre as it is a very important document without which candidates cannot enter the exam hall.
- Digital, B/W or soft copies of the SET admit card will not be accepted.
- The admit card is to be submitted at the time of the verification process.
- Students should carry a photo ID proof (original and photocopy) and two recent passport-size coloured photographs for identification purposes.
Don’ts
- Do not carry any electronic gadgets to the exam centre, such as mobiles, laptops, calculators, etc.
- The exam centre gates will close 15 minutes before the exam and no one will be allowed to enter the exam hall; hence, candidates must not arrive late.
- Candidates must not carry any eatables or drinks inside the exam centre. They are prohibited inside the exam hall.
- Candidates must also not carry any stationery to the exam centre except a black or blue ballpoint pen.

The SET exam will be conducted from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates should ideally reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam starts. Hence, candidates must reach the exam centre on the time mentioned on the admit card in order to avoid any hassle. The gates will close at 11:00 AM for the SET exam. Candidates will not be allowed to enter after this. To complete the frisking formalities at the GATE and be seated by 11:20 AM, candidates should reach the centre on time. They can also leave the SET exam centre only once the exam is over.
SET 2026 exam was conducted on May 2 and May 10. SET exam was conducted in CBT test format by Symbiosis International University. Duration of exam is one hour and students can take exam at their test centre.
